    This is charming. I think there must be fairies in these woods. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.

      Thank you for your feedback…..I am always trying to get the essence of a scene without making it too representational. I am increasingly enjoying mark making. It is not easy but challenging and enjoyable. …..mostly 😀👍❤️

    Beautiful Wendy ❤️ Love all the different greens, the glow coming from behind the trees and love the loose look that the sponge gives to the tree foliage and the finishing touches with the white gouache. I do feel inspired to have a go 🙂

    This is super Wendy; I want to step inside the picture to explore what's behind those trees, to feel the sun on my face, and that cool, wet grass against my legs. I think you did a great job for someone claiming to be experimenting! Thank-you for sharing it with us.

    Very pretty, Wendy. I love the lost and found edges, a typical English woods in spring time with the fresh greens. I am going to try sponging, had a go once and it was a bit of a failure!! Thank you for this lovely demonstration. Greetings from Kent 😊

    I did one painting mostly greens but found it not interesting. How to add more interest in the painting?

    • @WendyPowellJones
      @WendyPowellJones  2 года назад

      It is a very green scene….I suggest you add more flowers such as blue bells or red campion in the foreground and make sure you vary the greens…..hope that helps 🙂
