What kind of sprocket gearing do you prefer on your 350? I use 16/44 or 45 I think, which I'm pretty satisfied with on trails and 'chip & seal' county back roads, but sometimes I'd like just a bit more top end for the highway. (You mentioned the old tv westerns. I have some of the old Iron wood from the Gunsmoke TV show. It came from the old Boardwalk (sidewalk) of the set. I plan on using most of the pieces I have as knife handle scales on fixed blade knives that I make. A friend of a friend helped to dismantle the Gunsmoke set and they mailed some back to us here in Ky.)
That's really cool! I'm running a 15/39 combo right now, it makes running 65mph on the freeway much more comfortable than the 15/44 I was running previously. It's not bad on trails either but I'm slipping the clutch more than usual, granted I don't do a ton of technical trails so not a huge issue for me. I do have a 13T front sprocket I ordered just in case I want to change the gearing though, but have yet to feel the need to install it
Lol that's what I was thinking bears mountain lion . I have a 1990 DR 350s almost done everything done but the top end . It will start but I have low compression in the head but everything else is done . And a little this a little that . I won't know what I need to I get into it . I'm selling my 2008 Softail Custom . Riding in the woods is more exciting to me these day's since everyone just drives like idiots in the Northeast .
PARIÓ MARTY!!!!! DR350!!!! I LOVE YOUUUU!!!!

Can't go wrong with a dr350. A very capable dirt bike and a fun ADV bike with a few mods
Oregon looks awesome . To bad. too many fruits and nuts as California is .
