The double cleanse uses an oil based cleanser first, then a water based one. So she’s saying use both. But it doesn’t have to be those specifically, depending on your skin type.

@@adto0930 What I understood about her videos is that oily prone skin should wash with Micellar water or gel because the oily heads take off the oiliness from your face (morning & night). Don't use oil washes. Watch her video on Sebaceous filaments.

I’ve always wondered if I’m washing too much. I’ve gone to some stores to get cleansing products and when i talk about how oily i am they say I’m oily because I’m over-cleansing and my face is trying to compensate. But every time i wash my face never feels stripped. I currently wash my face three times a day and every time, right before , it literally looks like someone threw baby oil on my face. I get maybe oil “helps us stay looking younger” but i find it to be a nuisance .

I just watched your video on hyperpigmentation and placed an order at The Ordinary for the acids that you recommended. I also placed an order for the Cetraben moisturizer that you suggested and will work on following the specific steps that you provided. My main concern however is that my face is darker than the rest of my body. I am a woman of colour (African to be precise) and I have always struggled with this issue. I am now understanding the importance of sun creams and I will work on that but for now, is there a way to "lighten" my face without bleaching it necessarily so that it matches the rest of my body? Also, would you have a video for the scars on the rest of my body? I have mosquito bights on my legs that I have literally since I was a teenager...and they do not seem to go away. yes please, make a Salycilic acid video and how to use it when you have sebaceous filaments on nose only, make a complete routine. Please mention moisturizer options from La roche posay, cetaphil, bioderma, etc. over the counter, they have a lot new ones but you only talk about the bad ones and no moisturizer. That's my issue I have sensitive skin that has been getting breakout due to changing my facewash I went back to Neutrogena oil free cash wash but I need a serum that will add moisture around my cheeks and jaw. I have hyperpigmentation on the cheeks and clogged pores causing the marks. I used cerave cleanser for a month and it was horrible. Now I need my moisture barrier fixed again and I don't know which cream for my face, And how to heal my skin it's raw and dry and dull with clogged pores. I have brown skin and mid 40s my skin is combination but the dry area is hurting dry and cracked and scared from the cracks. My clogged pores left dark marks and raised bumps. I think this video might have what I need.

I have a question. Why is my skin so greasy to the point when I wash it its still greasy? I went to the derm and they said buy benzoyl peroxide and cerave face wash, and they gave me a topical lotion...made my acne worse from the start all the way till months after. I don't use lotion cream or oil because my skin breaks out MORE...My skin reminds me of a newborn with that grease wax over the skin. Then sometimes it's really dry. I don't get it.

Me too… the best I have found is using the ordinary mask only on the problematic places for 8 mins. Anything else is too irritating for me

I went to the derm and they said buy benzoyl peroxide and cerave face wash, and they gave me a topical lotion...made my acne worse from the start all the way till months after. I don't use lotion cream or oil because my skin breaks out MORE...My skin reminds me of a newborn with that grease wax over the skin. Then sometimes it's really dry. I don't get it.

Ive literally spent the whole day watching videos on product I should use on my oily sensitive acne prone skin, and honestly I’m becoming helpless, there are so many products and I can’t buy them or try them all, I’ve watched your videos on the ordinary etc, I just wish there where 3 o 4 products I could use and that would be the end of it. I work as a care assistant and I wake up at 5am I do not have time to be doing tones of skincare routine in the morning nor at night😫😫
