Loved the 'simple' but beautiful design on this block and thank you for the great ideas for decorative stitches, changing colors, etc. I sometimes need a push to think outside the box. Because of all that, I guess I can forgive you for not saying Friendship Quilt Along the 'right' way. :) Rachel
When I am ditch quilting on my domestic, I use the edge of a piece of cardstock to follow when I need to 'bridge' across a block where there is no seam. I am not sure why I have never thought to use a ruler lol. Probably because I started doing this when I only had one very long ruler! I will try it with a long skinny ruler next time. Thanks for the idea.
What a charming block it is beautiful i would hang that one on my wall makes since because i can not sew straight thanks from Newfoundland Canada how about in a big quilt is that harder to do lol
Awesome show 🎉 sounds like you were having fun too!
I love it! I have your walking foot quilting book, one of the best things I ever bought, and love it also! Thank you, 👍❤️!
Aw! Thank you Linda!
That looks great. I will be using a ruler with the walking foot. Love it Leah!!
It's definitely something to play with!

LOL! Sometimes I'm feeling the sing songy thing and sometimes I'm not. When I'm not, I just can't fake it.

Certainly. This is why we quilt single blocks, then put them together at the end to make the quilt.

Thank you for watching Maria!
Why isn"t there a spool of thread on the machine???
On a spool stand next to the machine. Many threads feed better when they come straight up off the spool, then over into the machine.
Why wear quilting gloves when feed dogs are up?
I find they help me grip the quilt and the ruler and give me more control.
