I hate vertical video, or else I would buy it in a heartbeat. If they can give a firmware update to shoot 16x9 aspect ratio. Video is important to me. I like everything else though.

I think people who are concerned about privacy with these glasses forget that you never know when someone is recording you with their phones. It’s not always “in your face” or have the flash on. 🤷🏾♀️
I ordered these with prescription. I have a one year old so I’m looking forward to getting quick photos and videos without having to pull out my phone.

I think it’s ridiculous that you can only film for 60 seconds. Could limit to 10 mins or something but that’s the whole reason why I want the glasses. Thanks for the good review!

Since you can stream for unlimited time it is clearly not the case that 60 second clip is enforced for privacy or battery reasons. Similarly the reason the vertical recording only is enforced is to try and tie the device to Facebook/Instagram rather than youtube. Look at the price of the device. You are basically paying less than $100 over the price of the Ray-Ban glasses for all the technology in there which is absurd! Meta is subsidizing this because they are using this device to get more customers.
Interesting perspective, I think this can be said for most devices. Each product is a further attempt to broaden a companies ecosystem. And what you have pointed out definitely speaks to that for Meta.

I have em.... there alright.... Bluetooth likes to cut off when your turn off phone Bluetooth weird.
Camera is underwhelming for stabilization especially in low light.... music exxceeds expectations though
I loved the case design and how easy it was to swap lenses
The 60 second limit is so they were designed.... for stories... it could probably be pushed to 5 mins without issue. The light isn't that big of a deal- you can see them at night
That 60 seconds limit is absolutely deal killer for me.
Are you happy with invading the privacy of others? Are you worried about breaking the law? Are you happy about about the average human considering you a creep? Google Glass had all these issues and there is no technical solution. Are you worried about normal humans punching you in the face when they realise you are creepy? Or suing you for invading their privacy?
