Great content, I've been watching DPC for almost a year. I just installed about 75 drops in 2 existing homes on my property, using the skills I learned, in part, from watching your videos.

The use of zip-ties is something I would recommend you reconsider. Data cable should be loosely bundled using wide velcro, the tie should be easy to move, and confirming you are not crushing the cable. Also, your J-hooks are spaced too far apart (TIA is no more than 1.5m) to accommodate sag/tension, and they are well over NEC fill capacity recommendations of 40%. I also noticed that as you branch off, you may not be maintaining the proper bend radius which can compromise the cable geometry. Last but not least, invest in a cable comb. It will make the runs in the j-hooks much more consistent and manageable and result in a cleaner install.

jesus if this is the US standard, rough as fuck. Catenary wire and velcro is the bare minimum standard here for commercial work.

What are you thoughts on CCA vs Real Coper cabling for network? Looks like the SatMaximum cable is CCA ?

Wonderful video. The honesty of the contractor being "pissed" is absolutely true. I am preparing to run the same in my house with some 10gig OM3 fiber to each room for my SFP+ links to my gaming rig and servers or SFP+ switches in my room/s for multi device drop for maximum overhead. The way that you said how you felt about helpdesk being behind a desk answering questions, that where i am now. I prefer the hands on aspect. Hardware or assembling is what i do best. Physical diagnostics vs digital is much more enjoyable.
