The Japanese voice has some similarities with the original RE4 Ashley Graham's voice sound.
Interesting I noticed that as well, they probably use samples of certain sounds of her in re4 the original.

Nah, Japanese dub is the worst dub in RE4 remake. Leon and ashley's japanese dub voice doesn't suit their face and their age at all. Leon sounds too old, too harsh and too agresive. and ashley sounds too squeaky and too childish, and her groan like a h anime character in japanese dub.

ashley : i think its almost kinda similar with the english VA and the tone n the pitch is well lets just say kinda similar with her age if i may say so
leon : tbh i prefer the english VA cause the voice and the age is more similar/perfectly connected, the japanese VA have more depth and deep kinda voice sooo maybe RE 6 type of leon voice, especially if we connected it to leons age
saddler : TBH his voice reminds me of i think the vice captain of uchuu senkan yamato/space battleship yamato, or maybe they just the same VA

Japanese dub Leon is so fucking terrible and crappy. Why do capcom don't change the japanese voice actors for matching the characters just like english dubs voice actors? His voice are like an 50 year old man with short tempered headed person. It's doesn't match his face and his age at all.
Those both voice are really ruin my expectations in japanese dub RE. Capcom really doing a great job to choosing english voice actors but they are terrible to choosing japanese dubs for them both.

@@barfeyman3626 Do you even play Persona in English or you just simply say "English dub sucks, Japanese better"? Persona dubs starting from P3 (except the PS1 version of P1 and P2EP) isn't like the dubs from the 80s/90s, 4Kids dubs or any other English dub kids anime like Digimon. Furthermore, the English VAs are not some random people from the streets or some unknown people (there is like one or two people like Fuuka and Ken's VAs but they have been replaced by known VAs). I'm sure you have heard of Yuri Lowenthal, Johnny Yong Bosch, Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, Max Mittelman, etc have done Persona dubs. Majority of the Critical Role (Laura is part of it) casts such as Liam O'Brien, Matt Mercer, Sam Riegal, etc have done Persona dubs too. Hell, Persona 4 is star-making role for Troy Baker that put him into the video games voice acting industry. Also, Persona dubs faithfully follows the Japanese version closely (except the PS1 version of P1) without any censorship and there is no cuts.
