You know what's crazy...it's been 35 years and I listen to the two of you and it feels like it was yesterday. It's so cliche but time truly flies. The other thing that screams out to me is the "1%", 35 years later and the bond is tangible. Gentleman first, legends a close second, a lifetime living your values. ✨🚀

Kevin Mc Donald my Company Commander in Chad, an excellent example of what happens when you promote from the Enlisted personnel a gent a professional and true leader.

What a great story! Get Terry and any of the other guys from the Ranger wing on for their stories! Also, bring Kevin Mac back on when his book comes out!

The title on the thumbnail is hilarious. "A Life Less Ordinary" was one of the 2-3 VHS tapes we had in Kosovo. And I do believe SGT Owens brought it.

I enjoyed this one. My dad joined the Irish Army underage in the 50s and went to Congo in the 60s with the Defence Forces before he left and came to the UK. He passed away a few years ago but I used to enjoy all his army stories - it's good to hear you two chatting - it brings back good memories 👍

Awesome video brother. When you left fieldcraft i was super bummed because I was worried you would stop making content but i am glad you still are and i hope you continue. I also really wanted to get in your rifle class in North Carolina

I relate to you because im also a foreigner who fought for an allied nation in the gwot , i just did one tour in 07, was the most combat our country had seen since korea. The body bags/boxes were reall starting to add up, on the news daily, the bells of war and societies needs were heard by us who always were warriors at heart. So off i went, came first or second in eveything that mattered shooting stalking etc, but i, on my tour got to see the dirty side of war all too soon, a lot of shit that could have happened ended up by luck of the draw occuring all in one tour, to cap it off I ended up on my call noping out of war crime, near the end, bombing an afghani village in kandahar prov because the bones pilot probably wanted to get home faster and fuzzy IR feed was gonna allow us an excuse to release. I saw ppl on our side killed because of non sensical ROEs, though i had my packet for our sof filled and ready with all the big wigs signed off....i got out of the service completely disillusioned with the corruption and pointlessness and busy work we really were accomplishing over there.....anyways so now that I hopefully established some credibility, i at times listen to your content because you seem more mature and not into the super lame bro vet bullshit on veteran social media content.....all this to say, now that veterans have the platforms, when are we going to start talking about how misprosecuted the gwot was, the waste of lives, money and time to end up how it did. Dont we owe it to the guys who never made it home?

Back in 1990 I was in 3rd ID (Mech) stationed in Vilseck, Germany and we went to Hohenfels for our training rotation and we trained with the Irish Guard I believe they were called? The boys looked 15! I couldn't believe how young they looked! The Camaraderie these young men had! They made my otherwise miserable experience so much better!

The Irish Guards are a British regiment. They were probably all young English/Scottish/Welsh boys

Just like the LoN the UN doesnt work like it's supposed to. There's been at least 3 genocides, war in Georgia, war in Syria, war in Ukraine, all under its watch with another war in South Korea and Taiwan on the horizon. It's an improvement on the LoN but it's still severely lacking with the US taking on alot of missions that should really be UN priorities.
