For the future, if you find a robe with no string, you can use satin ribbon! Joann's and Michaels both have a large selection of wide satin ribbons.
Or just wear it open on top of a outfit..I was like "what?! Just buy it anyway" 😆
I have gotten satin robes without the sash and I would just make it a little bit shorter and use the excess to tie around me if you if have a sewing machine you could sew it together the long way.

Omg that scarf! I used to have several of those as a CHILD. It’s essentially just a tube of fluffy fabric. I used to “open” it from the end of the scarf and put the tube over my little brother’s head and he would wear it like a tube dress bahahaha. WOW the memories 😂
YES!!! As soon as she pulled that out I was like that's the magic scarf! You can wear it as top, dress, etc. They shed everywhere but I liked playing with them when I was a kid. Seeing that unlocked so many memories!

Those scarfs were EVERYTHING to my sister and I in the early 2000’s! You can wear it as a tube top!
I used to go to my nearest Goodwill Outlet all the time. To this day, I still have a couple t-shirts and stuff I still wear. The last time I thrifted in the bins was in 2014, so that stuff has held up.
Also, those shorts are more retro fit, no stretch. A 90's 16 is completely different from today's jeans of the same size. Retro fit is at least two sizes smaller than modern day sizes.
love it!! When I went to the goodwill bin place my Fitbit thought I was swimming for 2hours bc of how much work it is to dig!! Lol
so I live in Chile and this is how we do second hand stuff here....basically people buy bales of clothes from the US and Europe second hand obviously and they sell them in big piles at the local Feria (market). The piles are HUGE and take ages to go through but me and my friends are pros lol. Love the hunt. Have found amazing stuff...some brand new. Go every week.

I’ve washed leather before, too. I was surprised when I looked online and saw that it sometimes works out just fine. I did it with a soft leather purse and it turned out great. The jacket is so cute!

My grandfather was a mechanic and his name was Johnny. He passed away in 2001 and That piece brought back so many sweet memories 🥹

I LOVE the Bins! A recent find and my most expensive find was a pair of Prada loafers in the box! You really have no idea what your gonna find, but if you have something in you telling you today is the day to thrift, go!
I wouldn’t worry about the denim shorts that didn’t fit. They’re probably vintage, and vintage sizing is cut smaller.

My bf is a mechanic and wears navy red cap shirts lol. It's funny I used to thrift work shirts like that when I was in high school and now my love wears them daily for work! Looks super cute on you!

If those jeans shorts had worked out, an easy "fix" for the stains on the back could be to do a bleach tie dye on them. It would help cover/disguise the stains and would be a super cute look tbh

Dude, I’m from Wisconsin and our bins are $1.29 a pound for all items. The bins are my absolute fave place to thrift. And we don’t have to wait in line before they open, they swap bins out all day so it’s fresh all day long. If you were ever to come here, which I doubt, you would love it!

I love Goodwill. We were able to get a $5 edger, that at least turns on, though we haven't tested it yet because it's winter, a $13 bread maker and a $20 air fryer. It's great to buy second hand when you're trying things out
