But if i scold myself i get better at finishing and mid range but miss more 3pt shots and moving shots increase
here early rlly need this to reach my potential
Did you reach it?

One of the greatest videos I have watched! This helped greatly. Have a camp this weekend. Thank you!
These are good. But I cant😁.
I have taught my son this his whole life negative thoughts bring more negative thoughts. Power of belief is so strong you do the work it takes to get your shot right it just a matter of trusting yourself that it will go in🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
Trusting yourself that even if you miss, you can shoot again =)

Bro you don't need to flex on us with how many ladies you come around 😂😂 appreciate all your work brother ❤️ it really helps!
Michael Jordan scolded his teammates every game, how did Scottie rise above compared to everyone else getting scolded by MJ?
Probably he take it as constructive criticism
That's not true though. He was also specific on the things they did wrong
Exactly what I needed for my game tomorrow
Good luck bro
Good lucj

Ur upload frequency is on point 👌
Thank you so much for all the great content. It's really been helping me a lot!💯✊💪🏼
I'm impressed, the message of this video actually works for ANY game, not only basketball. I was looking for hints on how to improve my mentality while playing competitive video games and this video really helped me. Thank you, great content!
It's meant to apply to all things, beyond games even. I'm really glad to hear that you found it helpful =)

Bro video games😂😅
Thanks a lot coach, this will be helpful towards my boy whose preparing to make it to his middle school team.
Very helpful, not just applicable to basketball either, its helping me with my motorsport racing so thanks
This is going to sound crazy, but this video actually changed my life.
Shooting has always been a weak point of mine, and the mental blocker I had was excruciatingly frustrating. It hurt a lot of my mental ability outside of basketball, because I often felt that mental block was permanent. I would do all of these very little micro fixes, that would work for a short bit, but then fail shortly after. Hundreds of videos of shot form, tons of practice, etc. But my missed shots were all mental.
But ever since I watch this video, and really focused on this mindset, my shooting has gone up considerably. I actually can’t believe how much better it is.
I want to add one note that might help some people as well, try to find a visual stimuli that you could focus on the basketball hoop that will distract your mind from these overly positive or overly negative thoughts. For me (and Steph Curry apparently) that was looking at where the hooks of the rim and the net meet. By the time your eyes lock onto that small point of the rim, and you shoot the ball, you don’t have any chance to overthink things. That, in combination with this advice on and off the court, really helped.
Secondly, try to just take this advice only and don’t change a single thing about your form or anything else. For those you truly struggling with this mental block, sometimes you need to put all your efforts towards that and stop worrying about the physical mechanics.
Thank you for the tip. It's so true that all too often, a slump is simply a slump, and does not require people to change their shots - Simon, Team DeepGame
A lie becomes truth if you start believing it
What do you think about other motivation, should i watch other motivational videos that say that I should JUST GRIND MAKE IT THROUGH
Is it bad for deep Game?
Thank you deep game
That was helpful
Good advice, you can apply this to all aspects of life.
Watching these make me genuinely think that I'm better then I really let myself be its like I'm my own restrictions I just have to let loose and tell myself that I can do this or that I can get better on and off the court.
thanks coach
So true.
Im really solid in this thought process and the video is so full of important, true messages
Yeah I do a lot of what you talk about during games and i havent realized until now. Thanks
Well, I usually did it before the last summer really often for years now (I still do it, it has just started to get a bit less then). Thank you.
I got tryouts tomorrow so it would be great if yall could pray for me 🙏🏾😅
is it just me that wh en my coach scolds me i feel upset but when i scold myself i feel different...
16:40 about balance and thinking
thanks so much for these vids!!
This video helped me. I never realized I did these things and how it could impact me on the floor and off
Thanks! This is what I needed to hear today. 😃
Hi coach l am Elvis from Uganda ,l play point guard but l have one problem of fear which kills my handles when am in a game l need some help
Hey Elvis, assuming your handles are decent, it's not fear that's killing your handles, it's thoughts about the fear. Remember that most players get nervous before and sometimes during games. If you just allow that to happen, you'll notice it doesn't actually affect your handles, unless you constantly think that it does. But again, if you need to improve on your handles, then of course work more on your handles. Otherwise, of course you won't be confident in them - Simon, Team DeepGame
I learn so much from these videos
I just found this man today and I can tell this is going to have a huge positive effect on me and my game thank you

interesting take on semiotics, i believe the thinker youre looking for is lacan (i may be wrong tho) some of the terms youre using is a bit problematic with lacan’s symbolic and imaginary order nonetheless understandable and intelligible. good topic
Do you have a podcast
Yes. You should be able to find it on Apple or Spotify by searching up "DeepGame" or "Taylor Allan".

Yo could you give some advice on how to stay at a high level without access to a hoop?
practice dribbling, practice your shooting form. do lots of basic defense drills, too.
@Karma 23 exactly
That’s the best time to work on your mental game bro which is a lot more important than your physical

how did MJ manage to make his team to win 6 championships? I thought he used scolding to make his team insanely better
Great video
Who remembers EGT
God bless you
thank you
I love the idea of correcting negative thoughts, but if I'm trying to correct my mindset the whole time while I'm playing, won't I be thinking linguistically? How do I get into that instinctual mode where you're more in a flow state?
This is something you do mostly outside of games. During the game, you can move your attention from your thoughts to your physical sensations instead.

So when I’m practising should I have thoughts or no?
Like when I’m working out
@@amshanvasanthkumar8705 It's not about having thoughts or not, it's about focusing on your workout when you notice you're in your thoughts.

i'll try not to think while playing basketball and if it works i'll come back and like this video! :)
It's not about trying not to think, but rather, to focus on somewhere else entirely (ex. the movement of your body, how it feels physically to be on the court, etc). "Trying" not to think is still ultimately thinking.
Simon
DeepGame
@@DeepGameBasketball hmm okay I'll do that but I don't fully understand
@@ComedyGlor What part would you like clarification on?
Simon
DeepGame
@@DeepGameBasketball I just feel like if you’re intentionally trying to focus on your body movement and your feelings, you’d inevitably think about it right? Or are those thoughts okay? Haha

in warmups before the game should you go full speed or not
Don't go so hard, well you can, but it shouldn't be for a long period, just enough to get your heart pumping good and muscles/joints stretched well, save energy for the game.
Go hard in everything because going hard is better that not
ramp up. do like 5-10 shots at a time and ramp up the speed slowly
Julius smith thanks
A Guy thanks
