I've always loved this song and I love what you did with it. Although the "father, you know what's best for me" line hurt.
It fit so well because even after everything he still thinks his father knows what’s best for him!!
Poor Adrien, I am so glad that broke the akuma and free himself from Hawk Moth and Cat Blanc.
I think that at the end of season 4 Ladybug and Chat Noir had a fight around who knows her identity. The chat gets akumatised and accidentally hurts Ladybug. Then Alya gave out the miraculous to defeat Chat Blanc.

My theory on what happened!!! Because we haven’t seen hawk moth, I believe he tried to akumatize Marinette but chat saved her. (Either that or maybe she was hit by another villain..)She was drained of a lot of energy tho so he took her away to his home. He began getting worried for her and was angry at hawk moth for trying to akumatize her. That’s when he became chat blanc! All the team knows is that ladybug and Marinette is missing but since alya knows her identity, she knows they need to rescue her. As chat protects his precious princess, he reflects on his actions. (That’s what the song is!) meanwhile, the gang tries to attack! But thankfully, he choses the right choice!!I hope this makes sense! My days been kinda crappy so I’m not in the best mindset… loved the animatic tho!!

Aw… you should show what Cat Noir looks like when he put on Ladybugs earrings while still in Cat Noir more. Though despite whatever he did to Ladybug that landed her knocked out in Marinette mode in his home and the other Miraculous holders on the rampage to try and save her, Akumatized Cat Blanc wasn’t as crazed as the other version to not realize that what he was doing wasn’t good since he freed himself from being akumatized, yet still prepared to fight as her merged with Ladybugs powers.

Honestly, you could fit this animatic with the previous ones that have Ladybee if you have Marinette die at the end. Now that just makes me want to watch all the other animatics. Thank you so much, Ella Cinders! :)
Well, if I had to guess:
Marinette got hurt during an akuma battle, and Adrien got akumatized into Chat Blanc. I don't know the order, but it is apparently possible for a Miraculous wielder to survive Cataclysm while transformed and I think Ladybug would have the best chance behind the Ox's wielder, so Chat Blanc could have been the one to hurt her.
Anyway, Hawkmoth is super dead.
With Marinette incapacitated, the ladybug Miraculous is up for grabs, and apparently wishing your loved one back to life runs in the family.
Difference is, in event of equivalent exchange, Adrien is willing to sacrifice his own life, and Gabriel really, really, isn't.

I ran through an anime to see this without stopping. Definitely not inspired by the comment below...
Ok here's my backstory:
Chat Noir and Ladybug finally defeat Hawkmoth and Adrien is DEVASTED when he finds out it was his dad. Unfortunately, Mr. Agreste dies in battle, and Adrien just kind of falls apart. Marinette, now knowing his identity, tries to console him but he runs off to process before she can react. After all the craziness, Lila gets a hold of the peacock and butterfly miraculous. She uses the butterfly miraculous to create Chat Blanc while Chat Noir is vulnerable. He goes off the grid for a few days and Marinette becomes worried. She sneaks into the Agreste manor (which has been closed off for investigation and clean up from the battle). There, she finds Chat Blanc and they begin to fight. While he is fully going after her, Ladybug tries to avoid having to fight him, and flees to the Eiffel Tower. There, the other miraculous holders see what is happening, and rushes to help Ladybug. However, Chat Blanc lands a painful blow on Ladybug who is left incapacitated. Alya (who knows her true identity) yells to Chat Blanc, "NO HARM COMES TO HER!" but is shoved aside. Chat Blanc gets all of the others out of the way and deals a fatal stroke to Ladybug and she tragically dies. But before she does, she pleads with him to let go of his anger and says, "Fear will be your enemy and death is consequence." Chat only hesitates a moment before issuing the stroke, but in the moment Lila regains control and takes over his mind again. The moment after she is dead, Chat realizes what he's done and is a total wreck. He watches as she transforms back into Marinette and the loss is felt a billion times deeper. Destroyed by his actions, he returns to the Agreste Manor and lays Marinette in his bed. His thoughts swirl deeper and deeper in his head until he comes to the conclusion he has to make up and repent for his actions. So, driven to madness by hate and loss, he uses Ladybug's earrings to bring Marinette back, but do even worse consequences.

Is there any reason for the orange outfit story-wise in this animatic? I’m pretty sure Rena Rouge is blue by the time Vesperia comes around, but maybe Zoé got her miraculous earlier than she did in canon?
@@SapphireMan well hawkmoth is no more (chat blanc took care of that) Paris is in crisis and without a ladybug or a sane chat noir, Alya is next up to take charge, she‘s no longer undercover because right now the only thing that matters is that alya and the others get to Marinette because they don‘t know what Chat blanc is planning. I hope that makes sense!
