In this Face to face series "Algo और Quant Trading क्या होता है? जानें Subhadip Nandy से |" Co-Founder of #Elearnmarkets & #StockEdge Vivek Bajaj and Subhadip Nandy will discuss Quants & Algo in very simple language!
In this video, get to know how Mr. Nandy has started off with his journey in the markets. He said at 18 years he developed an interest in the markets, at first in which he used to apply in New Issues and then his first visit to Calcutta Stock Exchange got him hooked to the #StockMarkets.
From 2000 March till 2003 he spent his life as a full-time trader.
Later in this video, Dada explained when we just concentrate on Normal Technical Analysis we learn Trend & Momentum but there is another thing which is called Volatility, which predicts the volatility of stock through which a prediction can be made.
19:23 Mr. Nandy will define Quants & Algo & the difference between them.
He explained this concept with a very special example- which is from the paintings of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Secondly, he used another example of none another than Warren Buffet who started observing people and what they purchased sitting in front of a departmental store.
If you further go in this video Quants has been defined in very simple words. Quant: Quantitative is analyzing the reality of what is going on. No Prejudice view.
Wherein Algo is the set of rules and it can also be based on Technical Analysis rules.

Concluding this video, Dada gave us a very valuable lesson where he said "First you observe and then turn your observation into mathematics"

this person touched my heart I feel this is myself speaking again. I hope I will do the wonder which he did
im a programmer, and i was working as software developer in UK, that time my team get the project to develop algo software for FII that time i was introduce first time of stock market. after developing software i was very fond of share market, that time i was start study of share market after studding technical analysis i work for FII as an operator, as an operator i always trade on price action basis, i never use any indicator, pure naked chart only price and volume basis trading. but i trade with the greater information. algo work differently. i can't revel the secrete but only price action beat the algo.

@@jigmet70000 No not at all MA are the just averages of the price of the set of days but algo is actually set of rules which needed to be followed.

Yes, but i have created my own, after so many failures I have optimized my stratergy. I have converted that in algo myself.
Btw, no one tell anyone there working stratergy, they just give you path, you just need to reach there yourself.
My suggestion, take any chart pattern that you think is working and perfect that by findings errors in that
