In this video Mr. Jegan, a software engineer turned stock market trader, will walk you through his life journey and his experience while entering the stock market. Mr. Jegan actively shares his trading ideas on twitter and this is going to be an excellent conversation as to what can be better than learning from someone else's enriched experience.
Mr. Jegan is an options trader and will help you know as about the probability of success rate in option selling. He will also explain the reason behind it and how can you get a consistent profit zone as an options trader.
Further, Mr. Jegan will also explain as to what does an option selling means to a retail trader. He will also explain the mentality by which an option trader goes and what concept runs behind there mind while executing trades.
He will further go on explaining the do's and dont's of an option seller and what does an option seller avoids while executing his trades. While explaining this point, he will also explain the difference between naked trading and ratio trading which will help our viewers to use this concept with more clarity in their trading lifestyle. The most interesting part is the way he gives relevant examples of the concepts that he explains.
Towards the end of the video, Mr. Jegan clarifies a point that often the retail traders concentrate on the quantum of option premium but rather they should look for something else, so let's hear it from Mr. Jegan himself in this video.

guys, just to share my thoughts here. options, futures, margins are interesting but profits are elusive unless you are a big guy like as Jegan says.
if all traders make money then who will lose? imagine 6 players playing rummy, dealer makes money for every deal but not all 6 can make profits. so, please exercise utmost caution in this derivative segment. (And, dealers are option writers in this context with solid capital!)
i am hardcore mid cap investor and:
you can create wealth only by holding on to good shares.
you can create profits in derivative only with huge money..

Option selling, you need atleast 10 lakhs to make decent monthly income. And if you know expiry day trading that will be icing on cake.

Mr Jegan has greatly simplified n explained most important aspect on strike selection for option writing n emphasize to have one to one cover position. Can you please make second part of this vdo on explaining the exist strategy n adjustments?
One question I had , if the strike is selected based on 2% ROC (on margin) n also buying another OTM wouldn't it reduces the ROC ? if the Short option is Hedged does it still need Stoploss on premium at 5% ?
