The scriptures say that we need to focus on whatever is good, right, pure and lovely and in doing so, it moves our attention away from what was bothering us. At the same time, spending time with God and reading His word brings you peace and understanding and hope for your future. He loves you more than anyone can ever love you. He made you and knows completely and still loves you unconditionally. That’s pretty amazing to think about! May God be near to you and bring you comfort and relief from your depression. Hey guys, I just wanted to stop by to send some positive energy to all of you! These past years been very tough to me. Ive been challenged mentally, emotionally and certainly spiritually. This is the only thing that puts me to sleep. For a few years after the deaths of my parents (they died within 6 months of each other) I couldn’t sleep. I would stay up until I would become so tired, I would succumb to sleep. I couldn’t sleep without the tv on. I guess it made me feel there were people around me.
You see, I’m totally alone in the world, as everyone in my family has passed away. I’ve never felt so alone as when the person I came through, no longer existed.
I still miss them, but I guess when you’re the baby, you have to expect you will bury everyone
Anyway, thank you for this beautiful bit of rain. It’s so soothing.

We were very close and I loved being in their presence. Every year I would go spend a month with them. They lived out in the country so there was nothing to do but hang out with them. I’d usually go in the Summer when none of my siblings would be around, so I’d have Mother and Daddy all to myself. It was so fun and over the 15 years I spent this kind of time with them, I heard the best stories, finding out things about them I had never known.
Their story of meeting, overcoming major social obstacles, choosing each other and building a life, raising a family in a difficult time, is amazing.
My sister told me at Daddy’s funeral, “You have the best of both of them in you.” I ❤️ that!

I'm really trying so hard not to, I have my 3 year old son to think about, but, I tell you it's not been easy 😞. It's hard finding proper child care on a small wage, let alone being able to find stable housing, in a market even for RENT people are greedy 😞😞 But I PROMISE I WON'T GIVE UP!!
When I was a little girl we drove from California to The Oregon coast. we lived in a camp ground and my brother and I slept in a Volkswagen bus with a cozy warn bed and I remember listening to the rain on the roof, I was so happy and cozy, the sound was soothing. I didn’t care we were poor, because I had a mom who loved me and a warm bed, I was the richest kid around as far as I was concerned.

I lost my father at age 12. My best friend passed away when we were 19. My mom died from cancer at 59. My ex girlfriend died from a brain tumor at 35 years old. Life can sure have a certain way of testing us. Although I've lost so many loved ones, I just turned 40 years old myself. Yet, I woke up this morning and thanked God for the opportunity to tell you that you're perfect just the way you are and although times get tough and life seems unfair just know that you are loved no matter what.

I live here in Canada B.C. We get a lot of rain, wind, and lightning. My favorite, is whenever the power would go out and my mom would order Chinese food. And when it arrived, we would all be sitting around the dimly lit candles as we listened to the rain. Ugh such great memories. I miss it.

I'm with you. Thanks for these encouragement. I have a zoom conference this morning with 3 Professors and an oncologist about our idea for an antiviral against Covid. We have been doing a lot of research in the lab, killing a lot of coronavirus using virucidal botanicals. We now want to see how this works on people. But working on this is quite stressful. Not your usual job.
Hmmm! All very philosophical, easy-to-say and amateurish mumbo-jumbo type theory... but in practice it doesn't work! We're HUMANS... not robots... and people simply can't and don't just switch off! There are a billion examples of negative stress that happen to all of us every day... and it's both physically and psychologically impossible to just switch off to both past and pending future events! The body doesn't work like this... and wasn't built this way - although of course "stress reduction" is completely possible! Yup! I'm a specialist in Exercise Physiology... but all this is just common sense! And all your worshippers here who "thank" you for your enlightenment are, well... very misguided and in cloud-cuckoo-land! Have a nice one, my friend!

Nicola if you say that silence is too loud i assume that you hear a small beeping voice in your ears and thats a illusion what your brain makes and there are many factors that can cause that, lack of sleep, stress, neck and shoulder muscle pain and hearing damage.

Something as controversial as religion really should be left for people to decide for themselves.
