I maiden mine off water. The build went well, but I needed to reseal the wire covers after the water maiden. I should have applied clear coat epoxy before the water ops.

Over here in Oz it is around A$1k (1500) so not in my list either & much to low in wheel clearance. Keep cool over there🥶

I am going to repaint the black nose section and give her a clear coat. this plane ROCKS!!! i did the maiden this morning! AWESOME plane!!
@@FatGuyFliesRC I agree make sure you keep your wings level on take off on water and even then she will hook left before take off sometimes'
