I've been sober for 8 1/2 years after 40 years of drinking and drugging. And it feels great... I don't wanna go back to that life... So proud of myself... Wish you the best... don't want you to be on a 40 years before you realize that you're only hurting yourself no matter how great it feels too be fucked up.

What's up Gremlin, just for you to try. It's also great for the diet. Marinade your steak with Olive Oil season with steak seasoning, then put in a freezer bag and put Worcestershire sauce and red wine. Congrats 🎉 on the two weeks.

I’ve been sober from cannabis for 4 months now after having 4-6 joints a day for about 4-5 years. I feel so much more healthier and finally came to realise that you shouldn’t rely on a drug to keep you happy and sane. I’m proud of you bro, keep going and keep being you!🫶🏻🤞🏻

Congrats man, i went 3yrs back in Oct, i hope its not the case for you, but for me, i went through this whole "duck outta water" stage shortly after where your at, i guess because it had been my life for so long (drugs too), but as long as you got good peeps around you, AND YOU USE THEM FOR SUPPORT, im sure you'll smash it, cuz once you get past that "identity" stage, life just has so much more freedom, you start to realize the real you, the one thats not always tryna please people. Gym is THE best tool too, Go git it bro!

Imagine how much money your going to save by not pissing it down the toilet. Thats a big motivation right there. I wish you the best in your journey. Everytime that you want to quit, do 50 pushups for thinking thoughts of quiting. Have her accountable to you, and you accountable to her. She has to do 50 situps if she slacks off or wants to stop.

I’ve always been on and off getting into shape , but 2021 I got a bit chubby and shredded off 20lbs. But 2023 I’m at 144lb 17.9% body fat and my goal is to be 12-15 body fat% by March. You’re not alone in this journey bro!! 💪🏼let’s get it ! 🔥

I quit drinking a couple hundred times now and I learned that if you slip up, you have to remind yourself that you're human. Use that strength and ambition that was growing during the sober days to better fuel your next "sobjourn". Perseverance is the strongest path to success for anything in life. Just gotta keep on keeping on.

When I shut it down cold Turkey was the most I had prolly drank n the mojority of my life but I was up to bout a 30 pack some times more a day period! Wake up with the shakes slam one to function! I shook every morning! I drank one every morning I had to them drank all that night everyday but I stopped cold turkey no withdraws! My step dad committed suicide after being diagnosed with diverticulitis and liver cancer due to drinking! So what we do catches up thank goodness y’all r doin the diet thing that’s what’s up! However we are human and we get tripped up at times, so don't be too hard on yourself if ya slip up. Radical acceptance is best used when this shit happens...You were born to be real not perfect. When someone I loved got sober I would leave them with this qoute often "If you are persistent you will get it and if your consistent you will keep it." 💯 Sobriety is a daily fight and one of the hardest behaviors to change, because Its a familiar way to cope. This is why people will relapse. Life is hard and we need new ways to cope, but sometimes the old ways are more convenient and comforting. I did like 4 years without booze and sparkling water helped with the illusion of drinking. I seldom drink alcohol since then but the time off definitely changed my perspective. Good luck.
I've never been a drinker; only alcohol I've ever had was a sip of wine that tasted worse than cough syrup. It has just never appealed to me. But a few months ago something friend said kinda stuck with me, even though I don't drink or have kids. He works 6 days a week, 12-14 hours a day. He said he started drinking when he got home to relax. But then he realized that the times he was drinking, where when he had the worst experiences and arguments his daughters (14 and 17). He stopped drinking after that realization.
