I just learned you can replace one of those 1/4” plugs one the downstream side of the valve body with a small valve. For troubleshooting, you can see if your valve is leaking by in the closed position. 👍

Love the videos, great content. Could you possibly do a video explaining the model/part # meanings? 212 SMA, 312 SGT ext.

Thank you! We'll add that to our idea list for our future content! As a heads up, there is a team actively working on a new code builder system for each product line. I don't have an ETA for that yet, but it's in the works. There is still good value in explaining the current codes too, thanks for the suggestion.

Why is the level control box always leaking by the bar inside the box?

Hi, when you say level control box, are you referring to a liquid level controller or a part on the high pressure control valves? I believe you're talking about the stuffing box/packing in the HPCV as the “level control box” and perhaps the travel indicator as the “bar inside the box”? Is it leaking in the stuffing box where the packing sits? Just trying to clarify first before I can get you the best answer. If you need to talk to someone instead, you can call product applications at (405) 525-4264 or prodtechsupport@kimray.com.
