- Playing Road Rash II with an overclocked CPU. The difference is so drastic that it's hard top go back to the normal speed. The game itself isn't about skill. There's so much luck involved that I found it annoying to record. It's completely fine when playing normally but trying to record it is a bitch because something just comes along to ruin your race. It's more luck based than skill based. So in this run, there's a little bit of me being shit and a lot of me being incredibly unlucky.

This is such a good game. I’m so glade it’s on sega mini system. I play this every three months for my fix.
Runs smooth but the speed sensation is completeely lost
smooooth!
Subscribed, interesting content
I find it enjoyable and refreshing that you didn't edit out the failed races. But i really wonder why you didnt run towards the finish line a few times instead of going to the wrecked bike. Obviously you could finish the race and get some cash. Also getting busted is cheaper than paying to fix the bike.
This is awesome! Funny how overclocking and making the game run smother somehow makes it look slower 🤪 anyway it's still awesome to see!
Makes me wish there'd have been a 32X Road Rash. I'll bet it would have been this smooth.
Maybe. There was a Mega CD version too but I've never checked it out myself. There's also a bunch for 3DO, Saturn, PS1 and N64.
The one on saturn was pretty awesome
I almost feel like EA purposely had it run on less frames because it genuinely seems to play so much slower.
@@lamegag The Mega CD was a weird hybrid between mega drive road rash and road rash on cd based platforms. It was like playing a Road Rash 4 if It was on mega drive with the Road Rash (PC, 3DO, etc...) sound
I like this..i like it a lot👍🏾
It's plays so much better when it's overclocked, these classic games need a remake with better frame rate, but keep the same graphics and sprites!
AN online multiplayer Road Rash 2 would be so damn fun and funny
really cool but there's no denying some weight and impact is lost as a result. Nice though it clearly is
Two questions: Which emulator did you use, and do you know of an android emulator that overclocks? This is impressive.
1. He used the Built in Overclock feature in the MiSTer FPGA Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Core; 2. RetroArch Emulator: Genesis GX Plus Core.
@@MUGANGU I ended up using the Regen Debug emulator. Worked very well, but that emulator is very unstable and has tons of bugs.
@@MUGANGU I think that I tried that on my Odin and it didn't go well, but I will try again.
The problem playing this overclocked is your sense of speed and physics goes away. Otherwise its fun to play smooth..
the difference is very big.
in which emulator did you overclock the processor?
The difference is game changing. It's crazy. I'm using the MiSTer here my man. The overclocking is optional and it certainly helps in some games.

It’s boring, where is the sensation of speed ?
in your mind bro
OK. You convinced me to get a Mister.
Is the overlock feature built-in or it's something which has to be added? I don't know anything yet about all of this.
That's great news :) It's built in to certain cores. The Mega Drive has the overclock feature, the PS1 core has the feature and maybe some others.
