Just gonna leave this comment here thanking God for ppl like this when our paths cross. Every like will be a reminder for me to be thankful and I hope the same for you.
Sitting here after back surgrey crying for myself this morning till I put on some billy and realized I have endless things to be thankful for and happy about. So here I sit thankful and happy
Can't wait til tomorrowmorning to get on my bike to work and listen to this masterpiece again and @work I'm going to listen to a couple of concerts and after work on my bike I'm going to take a longer way home and smoke a joint somewhere and listen to some more Billy Strings. It's a week now and I'm totally and utterly in love with this band. I never fancied a trip to America, but if that's the only way to get to see them than it should be done! It's my number 1 thing I want to do in my life now, go and vibe with them for a night❤❤
I’m an almost 70 year old bluegrass fan, this young man warms my heart. Makes me feel young again, I absolutely love his music. New bucket list item, see a show live!!
I’m going to have my life changed when we go see him at the Outlaw Festival with Bob Dylan and hopefully Willie Nelson, hope Willie feels better, but he’s 91… my aunt Betty is still going strong at 93, though, dad is 90…my mom passed away in March, on the first day of Spring 2024…
I watched a Tommy Emmanuels video and he introduces this kid to play with him, and I can't stop listening to him. Workin Man blues with Tommy and Billy Strings Comes Alive made me cry. and I don't care if driving my FB friends away by posting and re-posting and over and over and over. gave me Faith again and hope. then Dust in a Baggie got my baby boy--35 yrs old crying and he's six months clean today. Music's a Powerful & Magical Gift and ty, Billy, for being such an awesome steward of your gift and sharing.
Billy's playing and the band coming together on this is just ethereal. Otherworldly. So beautiful it's hard to describe. It just takes you on a journey that's transcendent. Just WOW!!!
I know how hard his picking is, I played violin and guitar when I was younger, but at 19, I was in 4 car accidents, got severe whiplash in all 4 crash’s. I’ve gotten whiplash so many times, my neck shoulders and hands are sore weak spots, but I’m so glad my mom and dad, mostly mom, bought my instruments and lessons.
@@Klaproossje Yes, I’d listen to just about anything by Billy Srtings. We got to see him 8 days ago, at the Gorge, in Washington state. I’m surprised I’m even able to ride in a car, in the last 11 years I have been in 3 more car crashes, none of them my fault, but that doesn’t make the pain or concussions any better. I have cPTSD in cars, I prefer to be the one driving. My husband of 45 years was never in a car accident in his life, until July 2021, he’s a really safe driver and I trust him more then anyone, but these girls flipped a Uturn on this tiny, two lane Hwy on our way to our grandsons 1st birthday and they were headed straight at us, fast, I was sure we were both going to die, I closed my eyes, hung onto the dashboard and pushed myself into my seat, trying not to get injured again. My husband got lucky and he was able to veer slightly so they slammed into my side of our minivan, but I got whiplash and another concussion, had to go to ER.
Yep, with a few IPA's in my belly and two thirds of the way through a joint, it all hit me....as I reflect on life, the line ...." it's enough to make a man stay humble, everyday is just another chance to stumble".......gets me every time ✌️

God has blessed him with purpose, and he has followed ❤❤
Anybody that doesn't like Billy Strings is my enemy now.
I will follow you into the mists of Mordor my brother.
They're not my friends either!
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank you Austin City Limits. Without seeing Billy Strings' performance I might not have ever found this genius guitarist.
saw them last year in Antwerp (Belgium). since then into the mire is etched in my ears, sight and mind. what an experience. what a sound, what a band!
This tune always goes directly to my soul ❤
I was there and after his solo vocal this was the best finale one could ask for. Such a great show from beg to end.
Always my favorite song!
Fukin WOWZERS on that solo . . BMFS
Check out when he played it at Austin City Limits
Yea I saw it on 'Nuggz' Twas great 🤌🏼😊😊
Ditto, just heard him last night for the first time on Austin City Limits, omg
The Lollapalooza one is IMO the best
I don’t think people understand how hard it is to play like that on an acoustic guitar. BMFS blows me away!

@@jimrebrgddmn 4! Crashes in one year? That's a lot glad you're still alive. Speaking of alive, wouldn't it be great if abilly did a Pearl Jam cover?
