The reason you're not getting dialog audio for some parts is because some of it is meant to come from the controller, so you can either turn the volume on the controller volume up, or go into the setting menu in game, go to audio and change it to make all audio come from your headphones. The controller speaker setting is at the bottom.

The Ganado Village attack in the beginning followed by the bells ringing is such a well made scene honestly. Sets up the atmosphere of the game perfectly.
