Hello, I know from your videos that you have two Lavolta BPS305 sources, the old one and the modern model, the question is that I have the opportunity to buy a very new second-hand Lavolta BPS305 (modern model) at a good price and a very new Skytoppower STP3005 30v 5A switched source, both at the same price, which one do you recommend? Regards.
I haven't reviewed a Sky Toppower STP3005 power supply, so I can't give you an opinion on which one might be better. And it also depends on what you want to do with it. The Lavolta BPS-305 is a linear power supply with a big heavy transformer inside. The Sky Toppower appears to be a switch mode power supply, SMPS are usually smaller and lighter, but may produce more high frequency noise. For a beginner, both will probably be fine.
These power supplies deliver up to 150W. If the load doesn't need more than 30V and 5A they will do. But i don't recommend the Huakko power supply, if you can, get the Lavolta.
Thanks a lot for this excellent inspection .
LOL. Oh man i am dying laughing here. Small detail that only genius can see. Great video. thanks.
great the video is in English and can understand it good. as might order it.
