  • Embracing the Mesmerizing Meseta: Days 7-9 of the Camino Frances Adventure
Join us as we embark on the next chapter of our Camino Frances odyssey, immersing ourselves in the enchanting days 7 to 9 of our journey. Our footsteps forge ahead from the quaint town of Los Arcos, ushering us into a realm of breathtaking landscapes, growing camaraderie, and enriching experiences.
Day 7 - Los Arcos to Logroño: Our expedition unfurls along the 28-kilometer stretch from Los Arcos to Logroño, a distance both daunting and invigorating. As we navigate this path, our strides are an amalgamation of determination and awe, as the Meseta's vast expanse envelops us. The rhythm of walking transforms into a meditative cadence, allowing us to find solace in each step and inspiration in the unending horizon. Arriving in Logroño, we're greeted not only by the warmth of fellow pilgrims but also the promise of indulging in culinary delights and celebratory libations.
Day 8 - Logroño to Najera: Our journey continues with a 28-kilometer trek from Logroño to Najera, a passage that unfurls like a mesmerizing tapestry. The bonds with our newfound Camino family deepen, weaving threads of shared experiences and mutual support. The picturesque landscapes of vineyards and rolling hills paint an ever-changing portrait, echoing the ebb and flow of our own personal transformations. As we reach Najera, the town's historical significance resonates, serving as a poignant reminder of the countless pilgrims who have passed through these hallowed streets.
Day 9 - Navigating the Meseta to Santo Domingo de la Calzada: Our journey across the vast expanse of the Meseta reveals the raw beauty of simplicity. Each step carries us further into an introspective realm, where the landscape's subtlety mirrors our own inner journey. The quietude of the Meseta becomes a canvas for self-reflection, while the gradual growth of our Camino family enriches the tapestry of our experience. Arriving in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, we are greeted by a town steeped in history and legend, reminding us that the Camino is as much about the places we pass through as it is about the footsteps we take.
Amidst the splendor of the landscapes, the growing camaraderie, and the personal revelations, we come to understand the essence of the Camino. It's a journey that transcends the physical, forging connections that extend beyond borders and cultures. Evenings in larger towns become a celebration of not only our achievements but also the camaraderie we've cultivated. Indulging in good food and sharing laughter over drinks become integral parts of the pilgrimage, a testament to the multifaceted nature of the Camino experience.
As we recount these transformative days, we invite you to join us in embracing the beautiful and intense journey that is the Camino Frances. Whether you're a fellow pilgrim, an armchair traveler, or an adventurer seeking inspiration, our story echoes the universal quest for self-discovery and the pursuit of meaningful connections. Stay tuned as we continue to unveil the magic that unfolds with each step. Ultreia and buen camino!

@@storiestellr Wow, on a phone, that's impressive! I walked last year, first week of April to mid-May. Can't get enough of other people's video and photos. I need to return! Looking forward to more of your journey. Editing can be fun!

@@SimonBurnCreative haha yeah tell me about it - I watch way too many Camino videos myself 😆 and editing my own allows me to relive that time a little. I walked early May to June, but returning is a tempting idea, indeed… (and editing this footage is fun, actually, you’re right)

hi Simon, I recently posted the final video where I walk from Santiago to Finisterre and hold a goodbye ceremony for my trusty walking stick. After carrying it across Spain, I left it at the ocean, no longer needing its support. You can watch the farewell here: ruclips.net/video/E1yjCBIpsA4/видео.html I appreciate you coming along on this journey with me!

each atom, happy or miserable, turns in love with the sun. Come, I will tell you in secret where this dance leads. Look how the particles of the air and the grains of sand rotate aimlessly. The day awakens, the atoms dance like souls possessed by ecstasy. Every branch, leaf and fruit reveals an aspect of its perfection: cypresses hint at its majesty, roses give tidings of its beauty. When beauty dwells in the dark little valleys of the night, love comes and finds a heart. RUMI.
    BUEN CAMINO
