I case anyone didn’t see my video on this EP. It’s basically a result of multiple requests to compile the songs I’ve written for my gear demos.
These are demos and as such I used my electric kit and superior drummer to play in the drums. I used Darkglass Electronics pedals for Bass, and I used a combination of guitar gear. All recorded with my TwoNotes Torpedo Studio and Universal Audio Apollo 8p
It has to be said that the mixdown was pretty fast too, as I said these are demos, and I do plan to do a proper solo EP of songs and sounds. Although this is technically a solo record, it’s not the one I had in mind and personally I want to show you all what I can do with that goal in mind!

You probably have no idea, but you're such a MASSIVE influence to a lot of your fans who are guitarists themselves; it's unreal. I'm not lucky enough to speak to you in person, so i'll just say whatever here. This ain't news to you, but you're a revolutionary guitarist; I don't particularly know what your influences are but the way you play is so new and refreshing. You bring the conventionality to the unconventional; your riffage is outta this world and your chord choices shouldn't work but somehow they do, it's like you know the secret to the most insane chord progressions lmaoooo not to mention your shredding is way too godly to comprehend, and then there's your ambient clean stuff, straight from the heart, and i'm sure lots of others will agree with me that it touches us too. My fangirling is kinda intensifying so i'll stop here, but I consider you among the greats, even though you may yourself not consider yourself so highly, you seem like such a humble man. You've heard this thousands of times, but please keep doing what you do, it's absoluetely mind-blowing and you're a legend mate. Also, while I'm at it, I'm starving for new Toska material pls feed me and the rest of us :))) We all love you loads Rabea

Been listening to this EP for four years and the monstrosity i experience hasn't dropped even a bit.
So I'm killing time on RUclips and come across some guy named Leo Moracchioli. BOOM! I'm blown away and spent the next hour listening to his music. I'm thinking great find, then I come across Rabea Massaad and I just can't believe the talent on this guy. I had my whole office listening to Grinding Gears and it's just fantastic. Reminds me of old school Joe Satriani mixed with a little Dream Theater. Subscribe guys because this kind of talent doesn't come around too often.

So I was minding my own business, listening to some synthwave, and then my buddy sent me this link, so I am listening to metal now. This is an acceptable transition.
Keep it up. my 18 year old son who started playing guitar about two years ago turned me on to Dorje, Toska and Karnivool. I'm 52 and still rocking.
I'm glad you uploaded it here so I can comment on it. I usually get VERY TIRED VERY FAST with this style of music... Kind of progressive instrumental metal it's not my type, but I gave it a try because I know amazing you are at playing guitar.
I was SHOCKED to find how much I love this. I can't stop listening to it. I believe it has to do with the lenght of the songs. When guitar instrumentals get lenghty I check out, but here, the songs are just the perfect lenght to convey every idea, I'm really in awe with how good the songwriting is. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do, but I'm really really glad there are guitar players as good at both playing and creating songs.

This is some good music to listen to while riding the train after work.
Dude, it's incredible how your music/riff writing makes me want to pick up my guitar and leave it on the wall for dust to permanently settle on at the same time. I can imagine companies are lining up for you to demo their gear. Awesome tunes and playing as always.
Also, tip: ALT-135 for ç (c-cedilla) in "ça". ALT-128 for the capital version.

Who can forget the early days of RUclips when xhappers would be playing and suddenly the shy chubby guy would come out and tentatively play a little. Always cool stuff. Modern stuff. Stuff I like. Obviously bea is talented but it goes to show what a couple years and dedication can bring you. Not just chops but the tastiest taste. Good man Rabea. If I may be so bold to use your first name, I found your RUclips channel & discovered the release of "Grinding Gears". It blew me away! It wasn't guitar masterbation it was bold & heedful of the structure of each song. It was a joy to listen to.
I've been listening to metal since 1980 & it's rare for me to hear something new from an artist I'm not familiar with & love it of the bat! I've already downloaded it from Apple Music & have listened to it straight through, twice. Well done! I'll keep an ear out for future releases. Again, thank you! You know...'Grinding Gears' typically refers to something that doesn't quite mesh despite incredible effort...totally opposite of this recording! Holy Schnikees man! Rabea Massaad is a fully synchronized Rock/Metal Machine! Yet always plays with incredible touch and feeling. Well done.

Man, if you read this... Seriously, that songs, riffs and chord progressions sound really really good. I can find many influencies here and in my opinion all of them are really succesfull. I've been playing guitar for years with my successes and failures and I've been looking for your evolution since 3 years ago. Honestly... you are the kind of guitar player I would like to be in the future, with that huge sound, the funky and groovie touch, shrredy but really tasty.
All success comes from your effort and I'm sure you must have worked a lot. Congrats man. You may not be a rockstar but rocking doesnt mean expensive cars, bitches and cocaine. You are a true rocker. Keep on offering us your talent and art.
