That crash is not about "bad luck" - it's about stupidity. Everything about that flight was wrong. Starting that close to power lines, flying without actually seeing the UAV etc. The resulting crash is your penalty for your bad preparation and lack of knowledge.
You read my mind John. I was thinking "why on earth are they flying this thing without a much deeper knowledge of how drones work?" To the OP, I would strongly suggest you use a few Drone Sims to get a little more experience before you risk more crashes and potential damage/injury to others.
A few points to stick to when you are flying your drone and ensure proper safety based on the video you have put (1) you have selected a completely wrong place to fly your drone and do object tracking. Could see plenty of wires where you first took off your drone. No Drone has the capability to sense 1D objects like wires and branches. Please lift it from a very empty space (2) Do object tracking auto pilot manoeuvres in completely empty space or for very very short duration. And before doing that you have to fly it manually on that path to judge possible obstacles. (3) Keep brakes on under safety parameter of drone when it encounters an obstacle. test it first under control environments. You will get an idea the capability of your drone.
The small drones do not have side sensors for object avoidance. But those that do have side sensors (Mavic 3) can still fail to see wires and branches. Flying sideways on the small drone is risky.
I sit corrected. The DJI Mini 4 pro has 360 degree binocular collision avoidance. In "sport mode" collision avoidance is turned off. Since it is binocular, it cannot measure distance to horizontal things such as powerlines. Tree branches are not reliably detected because there's so many things in its field of view it might not detect that one is very close.
The object avoidance feature is off by default in Sport mode, environment and speed of object can null the feature if you are asking the drone to make changes on the fly fairly quickly when going at a high speed. Also if it loses track of you, and sport is on, you are pretty much done for.
I've got the mini4 pro and I do active track all of the time on my bike and in the car I never had any problem's crashing. If I was you just have the drone set to normal active track so it stays behind you, don't set it to the the new auto button function a lot of people are having problems with it in built up areas. Also be aware that because its winter the trees are bear the drone can't see the tiny branches.
@keshavkumbhalkar5889 the drone will bypass obstacles in active track mode regardless of the settings in the controller when vision settings are working normally
Interesting! I suppose the obstacle avoidance was enabled, right? Then, despite a vast amount of tree branches, the drone didn't detect them. I've always thought and keep thinking that the obstacle avoidance on these drones is good only for detecting large objects. I would never rely on this system in areas with lots of trees and wires. Hope you could repair it!
For the next time when you can't find your drone, on the app there's a feature called find my drone. It will start beeping. Also, next time you want to track yourself try and make sure that you are higher than the highest tree. One more piece of advice is to learn how your drone reacts. Practice, practice, practice in a big park, golf course, or high school football field. Don't rush it. It will start to come natural the more you play with it. Other than that, I hope you get it fixed and I can't wait to see some more of your videos.

Dji drones are the easiest drones to fly. So if you are a beginner, start looking at vidéos on youtube, there are many youtubers who explain the basics for flying. Do not start flying without learning the basics. It is so obvious !😂 From France 🇨🇵

If you want to believe it's my jealousy that's driving this, no problem. HOWEVER, the real crux of MY problem is that I have concerns about the current trends in drone content creation. When videos garner a significant number of views despite a low subscriber count, it raises suspicions for me. With the widespread availability of drones and the ease of flying them, it's frustrating to see individuals operate them without proper understanding or skill. This kind of uninformed usage is often what leads to unnecessary laws and regulations. Again, it's not about jealousy. My issue lies with the nature of these videos. Despite having low subscribers and, in my opinion, subpar content, these videos achieve high view counts and are heavily monetized. This approach seems like clickbait to me, aimed at earning money without providing quality content. The reliance on DJI drones, which require minimal piloting skill, is a case in point. I encourage you to try flying a drone in Acro/Air mode, which would demonstrate more advanced skills and potentially create more engaging content. As for now, I'll step back from this discussion.

@@DiaryDeKomal keep up the content tho that’s what we drone pilots enjoy
Dji drones are the easiest drones to fly.
So if you are a beginner, start looking at vidéos on youtube, there are many youtubers who explain the basics for flying.
Do not start flying without learning the basics.
It is so obvious !😂
From France 🇨🇵
I hope care refresh is availble in our country :(
Yes we have
Hope you get it fixed! Practice and experience, you’ll get it
Yes, I got replacement
oh it's terrible. I did a video with my mini 3 pro in a similar situation. Drone vs tree
I will watch that 😀
This was set up. If this would happen to my drone me, I would react "a little more disappointed" than these people. They reacted almost happy as the test succeeded.
Ouch!!! That's a rather expen$ive mistake!!!
I've crashed my fair share of drones over the years (including a couple of DJIs) so I feel for ya.
Aww. I feel for you too 😢 definitely expensive stuff
Trees never move!
like to see the scenery using drones
Good
Oh no, oh no , oh no no no no no😢
Hope it get fixed soon ❤
Moye moye hahahha 😂
That was caused by human error, not bad luck, inexperienced pilot. And poor fly planning.
Thank you-antastic ~ 📢
Thanks for watching ❤ I hope i can be as good as you flying drones some day 😂
lol you say where did it go girl you funny!
🤣😂
You’re supposed to take some time to learn to fly before you do stuff like that.
This video is full of fail, unprofessionalism and comedy winner for sure.
you hit the trees!
I did lol
Keep care 😊😊 flying drone
Thanks
@@DiaryDeKomal but mini 4 pro is excellent drone.. Its normal some error also me first flight have failed crash afterward care every time flight.. And now continue fly ✈️😊
Why, lol, why does this have 5k views? I wished I never even clicked on it....
Jealous 😂😂 I think you should focus on your work.
Had hai mini 4 pro b crash krdiya
