Trimble Access- Measure Rounds

In this video we break down Measure Rounds. We start with taking a look at all of the settings that you can use to build your rounds observations. These include which faces to measure on, how many sets (measurements) per point, the order the points are to be measured in, and the number of times you want to complete this procedure (round). We then go through the measurement process to show you how it works, as well as what the reporting and statistics will look like.

I was taught to measure rounds in standard and not tracking. Thoughts?

Can you do a resection with measure rounds? If so, how does that work?

I've been taking a face shot prior to starting measure rounds and using that, rather than taking my foresight shot in measure rounds. Will this cause any error in my traverse?

Is measuring rounds more accurate than turning the total station yourself in measure points mode even if your taking the same amount of observations?

It's pretty much the same. I always let the robot turn angles (for many years now). My only critique is that he's measuring rounds in "tracking" mode. I think it is important to be in "standard".
