Got the same model about 3 or 4 years ago. Absolutely stunning guitar. I played nice Epiphones for years. As soon as I played my Gibson I could feel the difference immediately. The feel is unmatched.
happy guitar day brother the cost does seem horrendous but I'm glad you mentioned the build quality as that was my main concern I've heard some things as you do on the internet I may be making a purchase very soon based on many opinions yours included so thanks for that lol
I'm tired of you people talking about headstock snaps my guitar sit in it stands right now and the head start to stop going to snap off unless you bump it drop it or bang it and if you put number 11 to 12 on them and you got to get it real tight yeah it's a lot more easier to snap when it's under pressure
Look, NOTHING has changed in construction of those guitars. The timber, the tooling and the workforce are exactly the same. The headstock snaps are as much a thing as they were 60 years ago. It has never been Gibsons fault if you drop your fuckin guitar to the ground. I see people that complain about bad routing or missplaced mounting holes.... which is done completely by CNC.... I see people that complain about red stains on binding, which is NORMAL FOR ANYLINE DYE. I see people complain about shrunk fretboards or cracked finish for guitars ordered from Texas retailers to be delivered in northern Canada... Yes mistakes happen, tools malfunction, people screw up, but more often than not we have to get our head out of our ass and realise that a guitar left the factory ok and it went through trains, planes and trucks...
I walked into a Guitar Center with $5,000 in my pocket and I played 3 Gibson Les Pauls in a $3,200 price range and I walked out with my $5,000 still in my pocket 😐 there was no way I could give up my hard earned money for that 🤦🏻♂️
Word ! Especially when you can get a near new or NEW Inspired by Gibson Epiphone ‘59 Les Paul with a hsc and Burstbucker 2/3 pickups for $600-750 ! I got one off of Reverb for $625 w/shipping and it was virtually NEW !

Congratulations! Beautiful guitar and sounds great too. I have a les paul and an sg and love both of them. No QC issues on either one of mine either.

Awesome, happy you found this useful! ❤️
Nice one. I've always thought the tuning pegs looked a bit cheap on Gibsons
They changed to metal in the 60s but they are going for period correct on this 50s model
One person described the tuners as yellowing teeth and now I can’t not think of that when I see them
@@adamkwasnazathey look like weathers originals
I just don’t understand how people buy Anvers expensive guitar and then switch out the stock pickups. I would never do this

@@PatatoKeftes do you work for Gibson? Lol.
@@PatatoKeftes Agree with this 100%
Szkoda, że nie możesz zareprezentować możliwości tej gitary. To naprawdę smutne.
Okay buddy
It’s a pitty you have to make a

Look, I don’t blame you it’s a hard decision to decide upon. It’s a lot of money

I hear you. I did nearly the exact same thing. I left with the guitar. 😊
any qc issues ? blemishes? frets not laying flush to the fretboard? other people have said these are common issuse on new models
As I speak about in the video at 7:07 , there are zero issues with QC.
