This movie barely touched the surface of what went on between the two.
They skipped so many moments of actual domestic abuse between them - like him spitting on her face, tearing off her face from all pictures in their house, drawing evil eyes on walls, physically dragging her to the lawn - or her showing up after a long getaway with him with a nasty cut on her cheeks that Robyn Crawford noticed and highlighted in her book. Bringing chicks to their house, in front of Bobbi K, etc, etc.
The movie failed to show the real trauma that kept her drowning in the pit of drug abuse.
The way she wasn’t scared of him at all… lol I actually believe this how it probably went down
No she was older and was not scared he weak she from Newark
Nothing in this movie is honest outside of the drug abuse and money

She was the one and when she couldn’t pull it off when Bobby got clean he tried and it didn’t happen
Issue is that she portrays Bobby in a light that is false by people in the household, Bobby never intentionally abused her or actually did
Both had some extreme issues and when one got clean they couldn’t help the other
@@seadog2.0 I kinda think tho it’s universally understood that they both were volatile towards each other for their different reasons. I do believe Bobby probably had a problem with Whitney’s career taking off and was jealous a little. I think the drugs and alcohol amplified that. However Whitney was doing drugs before Bobby and she had all of that success on her back and was pressured by everybody. I simply think they weren’t bad for each other. Robyn being Whitney bestfriend is probably why Robyn feels so strongly about her marrying Bobby. But she wasn’t all the way off. Them two should’ve never been together.

Cs nobody approves of this movie…it sucks! Doesn’t make sense at all, its starts with like a throwback than go to the present and keep have fast forward moments than come back to the present. The acting was terrible, they made Bobby look like a thug and got the wrong guy( dope actor but not fitting this role ). The movie was just everywhere. The movie just wasn’t what it should’ve been

The movie is adapted from Robyn someone who loved Whitney and hated Bobby for taking her away from her romantically
Household members have confirmed he never physically abused her and if hit it wasn’t intentional
Bobby and her were bad for each other and when on drugs they were great, his biopic describes this perfectly because Bobby doesn’t like playing the victim
Actually none of them do, his speaks the truth
Whitney is portrayed as good and when bad it’s when her drug use got way worse, same with his
Once Bobby got clean he attempted to get her off and she didn’t. It’s why they sucked way worse than originally
It’s also partially why they divorced, Whitney had stated she left him and so has Bobby taking Kristiana
He and her both agreed that he shouldn’t take anything as he was starting fresh
He still struggled with alcohol, without a enabler Whitney still spiraled out
And that’s how it actually happened
Please don’t trust this movie for info especially when you consider the fact it is taken from a already biased person but someone who really isn’t into the man already

Its funny how all these fan girls are coming for Bobby's defense when he was clearly always jealous of Whitney and felt insecure as a man who had to live in her shadow.
I hope it's worth it to all the people disrespecting Whitney's legacy with this mess.

The Bobby Brown movie may have had some truths. However, the person Bobby tried so hard protray NEVER had any @$$HOLE MOMENTS and don't believe the match the Bobby personality in the New Edition movie. He was trying to paint himself as a saint. I understand he was falsely accused of getting Whitney hook on drugs, but wasn't soft spoken person he was in the Bobby Brown movie.
If this isn’t believable. Neither is the Bobby Brown one. Apparently that movie depicts him being innocent and calm while Whitney is being loud and crazy, but in real life, you see videos of interviews with them together and it’s the complete opposite!

Honestly, I do not like how people turn Whitney into the victim here. He was terrible for her and she knew it, way before getting married. He beat her, cheated on her multiple times, and humiliated her to the public, and yet she still was willing to put up with all the BS. She had it coming since day 1. Her family and friends always talked her out of a crystal-clear failed marriage and she always came up with excuses to keep up with him. They both deserved each other.

Bobby got to tell his side of the story after Whitney and Bobbi kristina died. His one sided story.Just because its his side of the story doesn't make it facts or all truthful because most of the things in his series don't match up with new edition series, his book, or his old interviews and reality like how he said they wasn't on good terms at the end of her life but they was. The only thing i believe is he didn't introduce her to drugs because her family back him up for that and Whitney said herself nobody make her do anything and she did it when she was young but got worser after 1993 and Robyn Crawford got to tell her side of the story which i believe her story more but don't make it facts either and Robyn never said they continued there relationship like bobby did in his series. She don't think bobby story was truthful even how he portrayed her and i don't believe bobby was that tough how he portrayed himself in the series. I don't believe Whitney acted like that in his series she was just a regular black with flaws who was doing drugs like most of the industry was doing and not a responsible mother same for bobby. From the reality tv series you can see that.bobby series was produced by his new wife to make her look innocent just because she wasn't a drug addicted and made bobby stop doing drugs which any non druggie women could've done that and his series made bobby less of a monster than Whitney which they equally wasn't right and wasn't monsters.

This movie is more realistic and facts according to Robyn Crawford book but they got some of the events wrong. They made Whitney less of a crackhead which it's supposed to be and look at her star image more which people should remember her for. In the other movies like the bobby brown series and angela Bassett movie it seem one sided which bobby had a hand in both and some of things in bobby book didnt match with the series, the new edition series and his old interviews especially how he proposed to Whitney and how both was in good terms at the end. Both movie and series started off with bobby and Whitney relationship which Whitney had a life before bobby. She had a modeling career and i don't believe Whitney was a full on gay women.Yes Some of this movie match up with what Whitney talk about in her interviews. This movie didn't focus both Whitney and Bobby being a monster and made it look like both were doing coke while the angela Bassett movie made bobby look like he never did COKE. I don't believe any of the stories if the person its about not here to speak up and just because it somebody side of the story doesn't make it facts or all truthful.
