I binge watched this Series. The acting is superb, the costumes sensational. It is intriguing how the roles of white and black have been reversed. As a white male, it gives cause to pause and ponder. Some scenes are breathtaking; some heartbreaking.

Ohh, i just freaking LOVE them!😩💕 I spent the whole day yesterday watching the show; after finding out that day that the book i fell in love with got turned into a show! 🙌 I don't read books that often, but i immediately fell for the characters in the book but, especially (Sephy + Callum) 😪 loved the adaptation! Can't wait for the season 2 (hopefully)

Jack Rowan said that was done because it was something that couldn’t be rushed and compressed into 6 episodes. They recognized the care and time needed to go into that plot. I think the show still did the themes justice 😁

I think "love is blind" is more of "you will do anything for the one you love despite the fact that it's something stupid." "What you Won't do, do for love." It's like the blinders on a race horse. They have those blinders on them to keep them from seeing anything but the race track. I think it's like you are so blinded by love that you have a one track mind to preserve that love at all costs. And yes, it can be that deep. It's pretty wild.
