I only clarify once a month and Suave is my go-to. I like the squeak because I know that all of the product has truly been cleansed from my scalp and strands. To each their own.
The VO5 is really the best especially when I want to get all those products out my hair. Thank you for the video on both shampoos. I will stay with my V05.

A lot of people don't realize trying to co-wash aka conditioner cleanse doesn't get all those built up products out of the hair.

@@cfoster6804 Exactly. Nothing wrong with co washing every now and then (for those who like it) but a good shampoo makes a big difference of a lot of products working well in your hair.

i love suave shampoo, i’ve tried so many shampoos and even though it’s so cheap to buy it works good for my hair , makes it soft and helps it grow , i have the water lily scented shampoo and conditioner , i’m going to try all the scents one at a time 💛

These are both so good! The only thing that made me choose v05 instead was the amount of skin irritation I got from the suave.
ik this is old but "the Squeak" is how you know ur hair is Clean-clean 😊
If your scalp extreme only like mine , the blue suave clarifying is the Gold Standard even for the 1980s aqua net build up extreme hairspray gels mouse conditioning packs and the extreme products build up. It feels so fluffy and amazingly soft and scalp can really tell the difference. If you are not removing the skip and giio your not clarifying properly. Needs done once a week at least. My hair just feels stringy horrible after w week bc excess sebum production. Also my scale oils get to where I am getting cysts infected follicles swelling. My scalp is and skin needs exfoliation or I feel nasty

i love the vo5 shampoo so much better than suave. the vo5 is all i use now. the suave shampoo had my scalp super dry and itchy. vo5 does not do that to me. it clarifies my hair and does not leave my scalp itchy
Would these be able to get butter, grease and especially silicones out of my hair?

You know what? I have both shampoos and like them both, but not sure which I like best. I noticed with your demo here that the Suave seemed to have caused markedly more shrinkage than the VO5. I may have to do a side-by-side on my hair next wash day to see if I get a similar result.
Suave dries me out but VO5 is not my favorite scents....
This may sound like a weird question but do you clarify first and then go in with a regular moisturizing shampoo?
Personally I think all you need is the clarifying shampoo but I would follow up with a deep conditioner.

I have been trying so many different shampoos and conditioners because since I have been natural for about three years now and I'm trying to still figure out what's best for my hair and what helps it thrive and grow. It helps that I have finally found a RUclipsr with hair similar to mine to watch
No problem!! So can I recommend my fav shampoos? Garnier's moisturizing shampoo. I did a review of this one..in the blue bottle. Creame of Nature Moisture and Shine. You can find both at Walmart.

I just bought this shampoo and wanted to know how it worked for other naturals. Girl, it was 74 cents at my local Walmart. So because of the price, I was like, HOLD UP; What am I about to put in to my hair. But I'm glad it works. I have faux locs in my head, had them for almost 4 months now, and I'm about to take them out and do a press out. So I need that deep clean.

I just bought suave’s daily clarifying one with the matching conditioner? I’ve never used it before and I have used suave since I was a kid literally. I am 23. And I have naturally curly hair. Cant use VO5. I am not bashing the brand but it makes my hair look very frizzy. So I use suave or Garnier I love the fact that they created one as well so I got it too, but I shampoo my hair too much to use this daily. I just need something to get rid of the really bad oil out of my hair. I use a lot of themSo we will see what this does. I’m literally about to get in the shower as we speak. I am a new subscriber, I will subscribe on my other channel.

How would you compare the Neutrogena anti-residue shampoo to the Vo5 shampoo? Both are clarifying shampoos and I can't decide which to pick.
I briefly looked at the ingredients for both and they are very similar. I say try the cheaper one first.

You always provide great information. I don't have a shampoo for you to review, as I do not use shampoo (I have tried in the past, my hair does not like it), I usually clarify my hair using ACV (apply to scalp and hair, massage in and rinse), and my homemade African Black Soap. I have compared to bentonite clay. Although, my hair benefits from both, I prefer the former.

No problem. I enjoy watching you. I use acv and I have used aloe vera juice. I also add a few drops of peppermint oil.
Try the vo5 kiwi lime squeeze it shampoo and conditioner it smells great I'm waiting to wash out the conditioner now!!!

Have you tried the Suave natural shampoos yet ? Much better formula, I love it. But I tend to use a salon formula for a moisturizing shampoo. That might be the difference !!! Thank you !!!

Oh no..this particular one is clarifying so I typically use a moisturizing deep conditioner afterwards.

@@cfoster6804 it’s not really good to do that.. it’s better to just wash the scalp and the shampoo will run down to the ends when rinsing but if it works for her that’s great👍🏽
