I’m from Hartford and after just seeing the New Haven video their streets have more trees their streets are aligned with trees.
I remember when Franklin Avenue used to be all Italians before the great Italian migration of 85.
Looks okay this place, not so dangerous))
Looks can be deceiving hfd is no joke
It’s not that bad, really.
Nowhere in CT is “that” bad.
But things happen everywhere

I’m looking at this video and I don’t see anything dangerous here but houses boarded up and stores closed a handful of people walking around, just last year there’s been so many murders, I been in Hartford but never been through it and I’ve lived in some neighborhoods and states that are very dangerous, the only thing is dangerous is the people who live there
👏🕵
Hartford homicide rate is currently higher than Chicago. anyone living there sees it for what it is.
Hartford murder rate as of 08/07/22
19.2
Chicago current murder rate as of 08/07/22

I already know how high the crime rate is in Hartford the state of Connecticut got hit hard with a lot murders ever since people from other states moving there I haven’t been in Connecticut in 4 years I currently live in Texas and maybe you should check out the crime rate here too and see any comparison

Wow that’s sad. The people really let that small city get run to the ground and their government doesn’t care either. I never thought Connecticut looked like that. That’s sad.

Got to be north Hartford cause that worst place to be at
Born in Hartford and still in the area. There isn't anything dangerous about it compared to cities of the same size and makeup. I don't know if boarded houses and graffitti makes a place unsafe. I had to laugh at the end because it ended in my father and cousins gas station.
You can tell Hartford is getting more and more dangerous when the nickname is now homicide Hartford
I've lived in Hartford all my life I'm 34 years old...it's always been homicide hartford
@Rose Velazquez That's FACTZ!

Welcome to my home state lol I live about an hour and a half southeast of here
Honestly i hear a lot of bad things about this city but my experiences have been positive everytime ive driven through or stopped in town
Lived in CT my whole life, people not from here think it's all rich white people in mansions and country clubs but that is so not true. CT has one of the biggest disparities between rich and poor. It's also has a very diverse population with all kinds of people.

You should see hartford when it's cloudy or raining. Most depressing place on earth, right there with Detroit. CT is a nice state, really pretty too, but all our major cities are decrepit
Just like everywhere else, nothing like it was before they tore down the projects up there! Belleview Square! Stowe Village was different! When that 20 Love jumped off in the early 90's had to be a certain type built to be up on the avenue! Shouts to Main n Tower! The Sportsmen club and the dawn dance! 3rd world economics/politics, still living off of 1st world infrastructure and accomplishments. This was once a beautiful and thriving city. Anything that gets destroyed or burned now, doesn't get rebuilt. No $. That city is terrible at paying their bills to contractors.
