My mom sold Tupperware in the 80’s so we had tons of Tupperware around the house growing up. When I was a little older she made me her fulfillment center picking and pulling all her orders so I learned and know way more about Tupperware then I should.

We've known about the Micronauts cartoon for years because some of the voice actors mentioned they worked on the show at toy conventions.
Plus several of the production staff mention they worked on the show in their LinkedIn resumes.
We had a few promo images from Hasbro and the show looked very "Teen Titans" animation. Nothing was recognizable as the 70s Micronauts toys really. If they gave it a different name you would hardly know it was them.

I know I left you this comment a while back, but I don't think you ever responded. Hasbro had shown some prototypes of 6 inch Micronauts figures they were planning on making a few years ago, but never went into production. I can only surmise it had to do with licensing issues between Marvel and Mego, because the images of the figures looked like they were based on the Marvel versions. A real shame, because the designs looked great, you can find them on line. Between the SDCC special set they made, plus the unproduced figures and the supposed cartoon that was made, they must've had some real plans to try to revive the line. They were definitely my favorite toy line of all time.

I believe that was SOTA Toys- they prototyped a Lobros, a Baron Karza and a Space Glider. Then Jerry Macaluso left the company and the license lapsed. He did an interview on how the toy industry had taken a hit and after the whole Palisades debacle (it ended up breaking the company) no retailers were interested and the IP was cursed. With what all has happened to it over the years, or rather, what all hasn't happened I can't argue that. So many opportunities passed to make a really great toy series come back to life.
In the meantime, Hasbro is on their 800th version of Darth Vader. Much needed, clearly.
