Just wanna say I've been looking at your vids for a few years now, and you've helped me so much in training my eyes to see through tricks like these as they are performed. I love trying to work out exactly how you did the trick before you fully explain it, and you are just an incredibly talented educator when it comes to things like this. I appreciate what you do, and I hope to see a lot more from you. Happy holidays and happy new year and all that nice well wishing.
Hello. First of all, it's a very interesting trick. 🤓 The faro shuffle's working is very simple. Think that you have 26 cards. You riffle, you stop when you want and, in the end, you are putting the pile of cards below the break over the whole pile. Therefore, the selección is in the 26th position. With the 2 piles of 26 cards is the same. You are putting the number complemetary to 26 of the lower pile over the selection. Magic greetings from Spain.
Was just thinking that if the final number is actually 11, you could just say add up both digits and then that'll be 2 anyway and it's already at the second position :)
Hey ! I love this Magic ! But i have a doubt.. How i force the lasts cards that makes the number that i want ? If the last pile have 6 cards, How i make the espectator choose the cards that i want ? Thank you for the excellent vídeo ! Congrats for Brazil !
Your improv skill is impressive and this is super inspiring. I’ve recently been discovering a few multiple outs style tricks but this is a new level. Can’t wait to play around with it
This is the most deceptive trick and amazing idea I have ever seen in card Magic 🎩 and I've been doing it off and on sense 2010, even though this trick or concept may have been around for a while, u were definitely thinking outside the box 📦 with this video 😇
Okay, this one is too advanced for me. I'll have to go learn how to add first. Now I get why they kept trying to teach me how to do arithmetic. If they had told me I'd need it for card tricks I might've paid more attention!
I think that for second dealing to end the trick. Wouldn't it be better to perform this to spectators who are not watching your hands the whole time where they can see you do the second dealing even if your doing it as quickly as you can? There might be some people that can really observe your hand movement and they could still catch you second dealing even if you do it quickly. I don't know about that risk.
The second dealing out is only necessary if the selection process goes in that particular direction, I would say that it’s not a common occurrence. However, I would only recommend attempting that method if you are perfect at the second deal, meaning that the spectators won’t be able to see it. It was the most practical method that I could come up with for handling that situation, but by all means feel free to explore other more comfortable options!
I used to know this trick that I learned on this channel, where you would have two halves of the deck, and you would search through the halves with the spectator, and be unable to find their card. Then you would spell out the name of the card and reveal their card. I can’t find the video where I learned this trick, can anyone help me?
Luckily you don’t have to do a faro to do this trick! That’s just one way to control the card. Another easier way to control it is to have the spectator select any card from a spread. While they are looking and memorizing the card, you push off 7 groups of 3 cards (21 cards), then open the spread and have the spectator place the card back in the spot you are holding. This will control the card directly to the 22nd position without doing any faros!
That 26th position control is just brilliant. So many good applications for that move! Thanks for another great video.
Merry Christmas boss !
Very cool trick 😊👍😊👍
