- Great white shark encountered while feeding on a seal about 10 miles off the coast of San Diego.

No chum was used and no animals were harmed by the fishermen. Just a fortunate encounter watching a beautiful shark eat lunch.
Crazy how his body starts to disappear like that while swimming a few feet away, the ocean is truly a different world

Being a student of an open water diving class just before high school graduation, you are taught that you have a greater chance of being struck by lightning than a shark attack. Having mentioned that, creatures like this aren't uncommon and with me approaching my senior years, I would definitely not be as fearless. That fish would swallow you whole and you'd become crab food. Not a pleasant way to meet your maker. Terrifying.
I deal with Bull sharks, always carry a small poke stick if they get too "friendly" they understand you can hurt them as much as they can hurt you. They never return.

i respect your opinion but i disagree, the shark had a full meal of super rich blubber and is dizzy. thats when they hit their nose on thing in a clumsy way. hes swimming super slow because he cant eat another bite.

You really get a sense of just how big the great white is in the clip. Wow!
When you are that close and see their muscles move and the wake of just them swimming rocks your boat is one of the most humbling experiences you can have

One of Deep Blues pups. She is 20 feet and they can have up to 20 pups. Because of conservations in seals. The population of seals went from 3,000 to 30,000 imagine the food supply. Sharks are huge and I'm almost bet scientists will find a great white bigger than 20 feet real soon.

There are channels with enhanced videos showing more detail. I felt the worst for Vladimir Popov. Both were horrifying tragedies but Vladimir Popov's death was particularly violent and hard to watch.
