I found this about six months ago after a close family friend died. It was a weird yet welcome experience as it helped me to process my feelings and move on. I find myself here again these past couple of days as my mom laid in bed on hospice. She finally left us this morning, and while it hasn't quite sunk in yet, I find myself having to watch my old world fade away as it's replaced with this similar yet unfamiliar new one. In memory of my mom, and the world I lived in with her, I'll do my best in this new world. Thank you for sharing this piece with us!
This is the perfect blend of vocals, strings, and electronic- the build up and layering is so good! Epic and melancholic with just that hint of upbeat hopeful stubbornness! Beautiful!
Wow, this is nothing to be disparaged. It's so electronic, epic and sci-fi that it reminds me of Stellaris, and it's such good quality that it would not feel out of place at all to be tucked into the soundtrack. Really nice work!
