Buying it. I got a 2p Aurora tent, and it’s a bit too heavy I think, possibly for Backpacking, at least solo.. now I owant this in a 1 & 2 person.

Does the dragonfly have any loops inside to hang string lights, similar to the aurora? If so, how many loops are there?
Awesome video! Is the tapered design in the rainfly an issue during rain & wind?
NEMO performs extensive testing on their tents, and only include features that live up to to their rigorous standards. In my personal experience with another NEMO tent with the same rainfly style in adverse weather, there were no issues with the rain fly in rain and wind. Great question!
Can you spray permethrin on these and have it bond or will the new coating/fabric interfere?
We do not recommend this as Permethrin will not bond with any fabrics with a waterproof coating since it can't absorb. Some users have had luck with spraying the bug mesh however constant setup and teardown will also affect the effectiveness of the coating.

I just received my Nemo Mayfly and connot find any videos that explain what the little cord with rubber or plastic deals on them are for. They are located on the underside of the rainfly where the cross bar attaches to its clip on the cross pole. I assumed they somehow attached to the ends of the cross pole but they don't seem to like an actual clip. I simply have been attaching the little cord loop in the end on the cross bar ball. Any advice?
The rainflies typically have tie-back cords that allow the user to tie back the rainfly and hold it in place. These are usually cords with an adjustable piece that wrap around the rolled back rainfly and connect to the plastic. Hope that helps!
Nemo SHOULD include the ground tarp with the tents instead of nickle and diming the customer $60. on top of the PRICE that they are pricing their tents at.
For the discerning customer, this is just greedy and rude.
The ultra lightweight thin material absolutely needs the ground tarp to protect the tent from damaged flooring.
It's just a not so subtle marketing strategy that Nemo decided to get every dollar they can from each purchase.
Other than that, it's a great tent, from just viewing online.
I will check it out in person before I decide to make the purchase, and take a kidney shot to the ribs with paying $60. more for the ground tarp.

Have you ever tried cutting a piece of tyvek and using that as a footprint? It is by no means perfect, but very inexpensive.
There are people who prefer to make their own footprint, and there are some who don’t believe in footprints at all. Given this, it could be argued that making it optional serves the customers.
Now I’m with you 1000% when it comes to tent companies charging extra for seam sealing!!!
