BLESSS - I have been messaging a tons of cinema 4d creators about recreating this animation, and you post this! super super appreciated. Thank you so much for sharing!
^^ had to update c4d for this one. Weird the base 2023 didn't have the vertex field for balloon. I did figure out the hacky way in previous version though :) Some other ways to get rid of the exploding/glitchy effect, you can adjust the time scale/scene scale--works for wonders for pulling some of that erratic energy out of the sim
Thanx for sharing your knowledge. Please don't speeds up or stop talking when things don't work as planned. Your thought process is nice to know but the video gets confusing when you try to fix mistakes quickly. I don't get my result to look like yours. Just a thought
Thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it, since I'm new to making tutorials I did have a few hiccups. I'm glad to know that you as the viewer wouldn't mind me making mistakes and freestyling on the tutorial. I will take this into consideration and implement this in my future videos. 😊
Great tut mate, thanks, liked and subscribed. Curious if you can help me with advancing this method a bit. I am trying to add a linear wipe to the field hierarchy, so I can have the boils appear across the surface from left to right. However the Freeze tag prevents any updating of the vertex map over time.. Is there any alternative to the Freeze tag setup that would allow for animated additional fields, or even just animated vertex maps? Many thanks. If I find a solution, will post back here.
How can I use the vertex map information for shading a material. I am using Redshift, It works fine but the moment I add Subdivison the vertex map too gets sub divided.
Excellent! PLaying around with it now finally!

Thank you
very thank you, I'm looking forward to the tutorial on texturing.
I would love to see a tutorial for the material too. :) Maybe with octane which is one of the most used render software.
stunning!
Best quality of tutorial and also its really helpful for every c4d user 👍
I learned 5thinfa that how to vertex map use
Great tutorial!
hi, i love your videos, can you please show how to ad texture?
Your wish is my command, I am currently recording a video for rendering within Arnold.(with project files)
Awesome tut! Very straight forward and to the point. Just liked & subscribed.
9:08 here you deleted the Freeze field. Is there a reason for that?
Really nicely done walk through and explaining why you use each function you do. Subbed!
Appreciate it, just experimenting with new ideas so there will be a new tutorial coming soon :)
Great tutorial! Subbed :) Would be very interested to hear about how your workspace is set up and what plugins you use regularly
Thank you for the suggestion I will cover some of the tools I use in the next video :D
good

Have you tired using the redshift tag on the object and subdividing in the tag? hope this helps
