Yeah. I'm not super into impromptu/unscripted singing lol. But I always admire those who can just "jam" and riff along with others. I started piano in second grade and played for about 15 years but I'm too "logical" with my playing. I tried to jam out on a keyboard with some friends on guitar and drums but I just can't process music/chords in progression that fast on the fly and since then I'm just amazed how some people do it so effortlessly.

There's a podcast called Off Book where it's basically this, they take a subject, have a person accompanying them and they improvise a whole musical. Ive also done it before with my friend where I just freestyle over something, it's easier when you can joke around with it and its ok if it's nonsensical but still rhymes well

@Jenny VanderPas you know it may sound like it's thought of before but it is possible to hear a chord progression, understand the key and just wing it with the words and it often comes out sounding pretty good. There's a podcast called Off Book where it's basically this, they take a subject, have a person accompanying them and they improvise a whole musical. Ive also done it before with my friend where I just freestyle over something, it's easier when you can joke around with it and its ok if it's nonsensical but still rhymes well

from Courtney and Chanse's "Last of Us" fucking hit (that 100% could be commercialized), to Damien's parrot rap... the crew once again proves how fucking talented they are. old smosh was great, but my god, you can't say these people aren't talented as hell. and Josh immediately capturing the perfect atmosphere for each one of their peformences. as someone who plays on both guitar and piano, that takes more than just learning notes. great talent (and hard workers) all around, new smosh is something the internet desperately needs more of
