Hi Tiffany. I can't even imagine the anxiety and fear of scans, cancer etc. You have been through so much. But always remember Matt has been there too, and he keeps choosing you and all of whatever life throws at both of you. And he wants to be your husband. So please, no matter what, allow that to happen. I know you will have scans for a long time to come. But let the rest of all the beautiful things in life happen to you as well. Matt would be devastated if you changed your mind because of bad scans. I can't wait to see your wedding plans, and hopefully, you will video part if not all of your wedding day. Tiffany after living with my husband for 4 years on a Monday evening we decided to get married that Friday ! Crazy right, but no regrets we are also Roman Catholic so we just did it, no stress, you can always have a beaitiful gathering for friends and family later on.
I have severe scanxiety. This is my 3rd time with breast cancer. It’s been 13 long years. If I can offer you a bit of advice,,,, regardless of the scan results, move forward with your life and wedding. Do not let cancer rob you and Matt of life and the wonders of marriage. I believe you are fine. And scans will be great. My advice just comes as a just in case. Regardless you both deserve a wedding and a marriage whether it’s 5 years or 5 decades. But you are fine. Noncancerous nodules are harmless Tiffany; there's no reason to hope they're gone, just that they're unchanged. I've had unchanged nodules in my lungs for the 7 years I've had cancer; once you know they're nothing you forget about them. I totally understand your anxiety and fear at scan time. For me the anxiety is worst when I look at my bloodwork as the tumor markers tell the story of how I'm doing.
I believe you'll have great results and I certainly hope and pray that's the case. We love you and want you to live a long life with your darling Matt. Love to all of you !

I don't agree her words are quite reassuring she could not have put it any better. I'm sure how you're reading it. This was not mean't to come across in any negative way and she wasn't trying to imply that all experiences are the same.
Are u in the medical field? I’m a practitioner and have severe Gastroparesis and only live due to a feeding tube. But I never claim to know how someone else feels about their body and life.
I have a lung nodule so far non cancerous checked yearly, my hub same. Our Dr said some people get one or two not necessarily cancerous.
I have to have more scans on my lungs on the 28th downtown (Chicago) to rule out some things. They already know I have a paralyzed diaphragm which isn’t going to be too much of a big deal. I just get that nervous feeling worrying it’s the damn C word. My grandma who was my hero died from cancer that started in her lungs and went to her pelvic bone. She was in aweful pain. I moved in with her when I was 21 so she wasn’t alone especially at night. My Dad died from cancer that started on his tongue and went to his parotid gland when he was only 51 and he didn’t smoke,drink (no alcohol) or even swear and he was gone in 5 months. They think it was from pesticides that he would mix up when it was time to spray for weeds. He had a landscaping business. My fiancé died from a benign brain tumor and had to have surgery because of symptoms it was causing. He was gone after being in the neuro ICU for 12 weeks. My mom with dementia and now all this crappy stuff with me. If this didn’t happen to my mom I know she would have made me come and live with her 😢. I have told her that I wish I could crawl up in her lap and cry .. her 58 yr daughter! My mom always tells me I can😢. She tells me that I will always be her baby no matter how old I am. Makes me cry just typing this 😢It’s hard trying to figure out what to do with your own health and what to do with your 78 yr old mom with dementia 2 hours away and I can’t drive yet. I don’t know what to do Anyway I am rambling and just crying. 😢❤ . This wasn’t a very positive message but not its sometimes nice to know others are nervous,scared and sad right along with ya ❤

Oh sweetie I really feel your emotional pain..I'm understand how you feel. I'm a survivor of melanoma when I was 23 yrs. Now 67 yrs. My Mom too passed away quickly from AML Lukiemia at 72. My heart aches for you. I'm here for all of us❤. Here in Southern California..HUGS🤗❤
I’m so, so sorry to hear about your mom. Wish I could give you a hug. I have severe, currently disabling anxiety, am convinced my thyroid cancer is back they treated in 2017. I am doing IVF along and will be $44k in debt after only 1 good embryo in my first round. After 2 miscarriages with partners but am now alone. I would crumble without my mom. She is so busy with my “father” who was an abusive alcoholic I am no contact with. He has dementia from his alcoholism and she is not well either. Almost died and was in the ICU for 3 weeks in 2021. End stage CHF and COPD and she’s always caring for him, getting him up and being abused by him. I wish we could live together without him but she wants to stay there. I’ve had a lot of loss and my story sounds similar to yours. I am 37 w menopause expected at 39 based on labs bc of my cancer treatment they promised would not affect my eggs. IVF stims made me so sick I have trouble eating a year later. My mom and my puppy are the only things that keep me going. I have attempted to unalive myself 3x bc of my miscarriages. And when my mom almost left the world. I will die when she does. It was awful at 34 not being able to talk to her for 3 weeks. Love and hugs to you ❤

I completely understand you. I am NED for almost a year for colon cancer stage 4 and last week I had my routine CTScan and I was sooooo nervous and thinking the same way you do. Not being super positive in case something comes up.
Tiffany, it's natural to feel the way you're feeling, trying to keep your mind from wandering into areas you want to avoid. I emotionally buy (and eat), and if I can't find something for me, then my kids and grandkids get sent random surprises, "nana has been on Amazon again!" i'm glad you have so many positives going on in your life, that will let you shift your mindset.

No words can describe how having a partner is empowering - knowing you have someone by your side who is FOR YOU is priceless. BTW I have nodules in my lungs too....they do not necessarily mean they are cancerous. I have had mine for 3 years now.

Tiffany my mom had several nodules in both her lungs too, but they never changed and were still the same when she passed away years later from old age!

I’m in Australia & air conditioning in the house is common. Some southern states here get very cold in winter so our air conditioners are also heaters! Called reverse cycle air conditioners. In Melbourne it’s quite common to have gas ducted heating &/or cooling too. We have both reverse cycle aircon & gas ducted heating in our house.

@lizgephart2040 all I know is that Tiffany is a victim of online bullying, and there are so many red flags through her comments. I'd love to see more of her journey, but her mental health is important, too.
I don’t see any bullying at all. I have never seen it before.
She is loved by so many.
All people do is to be a part of her journey and if possible make her journey much pleasant that’s what we do here.
Her health is everyone’s priority here.
There are cancer patients , drs nurses and relatives of patients who prey for her wellbeing only.
I bet it is more than 98% of this community.
At least as far as I know for 2-3 years.
We are maybe more worried than many others but we can’t help it. She is like a daughter like a sister to us.
We wish her all the good things cause she deserves it. She has a very good personality and well raised loved human being.

@Happy_crab630 I don't think it's as common in Europe. I know my MIL's apartment in Portugal doesnt have it and I was like 🥵🥵 We are spoiled here in the states with A/C for sure.

Sweet girl, I know it has to be scary for you, but you're wasting beautiful days worrying about things that are out of your control. Enjoy each moment. These peaceful moments are all we need to live happy lives. Try to look at the upcoming scans as one step closer to complete freedom instead of dreading the outcome. Fear, worry, and dread will not change the results. That's another way that cancer affects people. Don't give cancer that power anymore. You got this. Remember? ❤ Love you!
I was newly married to the love of my life when I developed a Brain Tumor then had two heart attacks. I asked my husband repeatedly if he wished he had not married me, his answer was always I wouldn’t change a thing. Matt is the same way, get married and do all the things to make you both happy! You are both so special, so do this thing called life and have a blast❤❤❤

I have just been through those scans... a week ago the full body scan has shown that it was still all clear., which made us all happy. Then last Monday did a PET scan and yesterday the doctor informed me that it was back for the 3rd time in my lung and at the same place. I was lucky that it didnt spread. 3 times got it early, but keeps coming back. Now will be doing immunotherapy again, but another medecine as the last one caused a lot of damages. Then 2nd operation to clean it up. The 1st op. Lasted 7 hours and half lung gone. Now we will see. It should be a lot less. Meeting with both doctors. They should call me next week. it will be the 3rd Christmas holidays with this! But after the tears and the anger, i am ready for it again! Thank you for reading and i pray it all goes well for you. 🙏❤

Tiffany, being anxious about upcoming scans are completely normal. Try your best to keep busy and not think about something that’s not in your control. Will keep you in prayers for great test results. Non cancerous nodules are always going to be monitored to see if there are any changes. You look great physically just keep doing whatever you are doing! We got this 💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙

I laughed when you said you can’t imagine A/C. It has been 100* with feel like temp 112 for more than 4 days. We are showering twice A day even with the A/C you feel like you’re not sweating. Hair is wet! Just gross. We don’t even turn on our ovens in the afternoon for dinner. Some days it’s still in the 90’s at 8:00 pm we have to keep the air con on constant flow.
The humidity makes it impossible to fix your hair. It comes out as soon as you step outside. This is in Houston Texas in the south of US.

The books are ALWAYS better than the movie.
In perth wa, we cant live comfortably without air conditioning. My brother in law is a electrician and fridgey and they have their own business. There is three months, June, July and August where they are steadily busy and then the rest of the year they work 12 hour days to try ro keep up with the new builds, businesses and renos putting in air conditioning. We dont really use heating. They are reverse cycle but we basically only turn the heat on 10% of the time.

Tiff you're such a sweet girl, it's interesting how you go from talking about scans and cancer then like a light switch flip to lip gloss so fast it's hard to keep up with you. Are you ok, it seems like perhaps you are so stressed about these scan that your moving at light speed. You've got this girl, take a breath and know that God got you to, so you can relax in knowing that God's plan for you is already laid out
It is called editing. I am certain she cuts out the slower partsof the video otherwise the video would be hours long.

i hope it goes well. here in the netherlands i got the results of my pet scan within 5 days and pathology takes max 10 days (breast cancer sometimes even within 1 or 2 days!). terrible that it has to take so long for you. good luck with everything and hope for a good outcome!

No air conditioning in your house? That blew my mind when you said that😃 I live in the USA and I would say most people have AC in the house. Maybe I’m wrong about saying “most” but a lot of people do. It gets extremely hot where I live in the Summer but also ridiculously cold in the winter🥵🥶.
