People need to stop putting up with bad behavior and then they won’t feel the need to trash someone. Red flags should be acted on...as in walking away.
We need to teach our children and any other young person who will listen that we don’t put up with bullshit...as Maya Angelou said “ When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”
I wasted a number of years on young men who were undeserving of my time. I wish I’d had better self esteem.

I saw him about six years ago and I kind of made a fool of myself. He was on the phone and I was interrupting him and I actually wrote him a letter of apology. He is the most gracious sweet patient man I’ve ever met under those circumstances. I can see why Oprah loves him.
I saw him in person twice. Once on a runway, where he was a model. The second is my favorite story. We were in downtown Chicago, the magnificent mile actually. He was walking with a very old and fragile looking very dark black man. He matched his gait to walk with the mans. And when they got to the corner he very gently put his hand beneath the old man’s elbow to make sure he was steady as he stepped off the curb. When the man was settled Mr. Graham removed his hand and continue to walk with him. They crossed the street very slowly. I’m glad to say no one honked their horn‘s as they were walking across the street and people who were driving had to sit through a second light. When they got to the other side Mr. Graham did the same thing - putting his hand beneath the old man’s elbow and steadying him as he stepped up on the curb. I marveled at how he gently took care of the man while protecting his dignity. Great, beautiful, touching memory.
Stedman is a great man. Everything she said is 100% true.

Good for her to see that Stedman was too indecisive and that she could make her own decision. He dragged his feet on Oprah too. Remember that? Oprah was not strong enough to leave him to better shape her dreams at the time.
Hes been with Oprah for at least 30 years, so obviously he was very young when he was with this woman. She said he made it clear that he didn't want kids, so there's nothing wrong with that and doesnt make him a bad person. She even said he was a great guy so theres no need to try to bash this man.He and Oprah BOTH have said they didn't want kids and that obviously works for them.
