Hi Julie, I have just bought a snc cm700 and am having trouble setting up the wifi, do you have a video that can walk me through it? (I learn by sight not reading ) Thanks Chris from Australia
Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, can you help me solve an issue, please? I got the SDX 125i from HSN about 3 weeks ago. I have used it for many direct cut items, so I don't have to fussy-cut around my stamped images. I am choosing to leave a white border of .04 around the stamped images. The problem is the machine is not leaving an even border around the images. For instance, I stamped a black circle with an snowflake inside. It's stamped in black. It is really contrasted between it and the white cardstock it is on. The finished cut has more border on one half of the circle than the other. I watched a video that shows to correct it, go into the tools/scanning/cutting position adjustment. I go through the steps and when it shows the left and right "X's" on the screen with the red circles, the only options are to select yes or no. I select no. It supposedly self-corrects, but it doesn't make any change to the way it cuts at all. The .04 white space border is still larger on one side and too close to the image on the other side. Is there a way to correct it on the SDX 125i? On the video I watched, the ScanNCut was a different model and actually has directional arrows to move the red circles. Mine doesn't have that option. Please help solve this conundrum! I could upload a picture of my stamped / direct cut images so you could see what I was talking about, but don't see that option on here. Please don't refer me to calling Brother support - the person I finally got on the phone (after waiting half an hour, and was placed on hold several more times), had no clue what I was trying to tell her and couldn't help me at all! This is my last effort to correct this issue. Since this is why I bought the machine, if no one can correct this issue, I'm sending it back. I love the possibilities, but right now, it's not doing the basic reason I bought it.
@@BrotherCraftsUSA thank you so much for the support. I wish I had never puchased this machine. The dealer doesn't know anything either. I am just supposed to find out for myself. I have puchased nearly all Brother products for years and never received so little support. Just read the manual or go through 2 or 300 videos that jump all over the place. Thank you again.
@@elizabethjean3953 I got the manual out again and cut fabric out like it says, but I don't like how the fabric stretch no matter how careful I was. If you use an iron on stablizer or freezer paper (saw that on RUclips ) the fabric does better.
Yes that is what I found. Unless you are doing appliqué the fabric stretches no matter how it's taken off. Talk to a baby lock dealer the other day and she has 4 different brands and none of them cut fabric like Sizzix or Acquilt die cutters.
Julie i made a fcm with my embrilliance program for a key fob that I had a pes design. when I cut it out. the tab at the top was cut off during cutting. How can I stop this from happening. I cut it out of marine vinyl. but the scan and cut divided the design.
Hi Julie I just purchased dx125E only problem is getting the pin number got everything done & I don't what to do now! FRUSTRATION IS BEYOND WORDS. Went to canvas & says no acct, tried different email. to no go im a former cricut person this shouldn't be so hard!ARRGH
Would you be so kind to share how to adjust scan n cut file to embroider the design... my cut files and embroidery stitching do not line up. 1. Appliqué Material 2. Appliqué Placement / Position Stitch 3. Tack Down Stitch 4. Appliqué (Final) I am using PE Design 11; Scan N Cut 650; Brother 1050X. Step by Step: 1. I use PE Design 11 and use appliqué wizard to create the design; 2. Create & export FCM file to scan n cut; 3. Save the design file on usb for embroidery. Issue: My cut file is always larger than the position stitch; thus I ALWAYS have to trim the tack down stitching once it’s been placed... leaving the final stitch to look ragged and unclean! What am I doing wrong? HELP PLEASE
Julie makes learning easy and fun. Thanks Julie
Thank you for such a clear introduction . Wish I found you earlier
Thank you for showing which mat for paper.
What are you using on the side of your scan and cut to hold your tools? I noticed a type of holder.
How do I use a a pencil to draw? Or to repeat a drawing? Thanks!
If I have a black die cut with an intricate pattern, will it work on the SnC2?
Which file type does the brother scan n cut use? Thinking about purchasing one.

Is there any index of the icons and what they mean? It’s like learning a new language!

I so wish I had realized I needed the Scan and Cut 2 - I am so frustrated at this point.....: -(
Please provide the playlist for first time users
That's why I requested a playlist. The manual is confusing because of the way the various options are listed
