@@noidparanoid1 the Daredevil: Born Again series coming out in 2023 is set in the MCU and may retcon all of the Netflix shows into a different continuity.
@@noidparanoid1 well we'll know for sure in about a year, when _Born Again_ is released. As far as continuity is concerned, we've only seen Fisk and Murdoch appear so far in the MCU. And on the subject of continuity between the MCU and Marvel Television, Agents of SHIELD was very much out of continuity with the rest of the MCU by the time Infinity War occurred. Keep in mind that since the Multiverse is now a thing, they can very easily retcon whatever they like if it suits them.
I think I would classify Matt as most intelligent. Jessica is a good PI, but that's about it. Matt has good investigative and deductive abilities of his own, as well as more knowledge and expertise in law and battle tactics. And he graduated cumma sum laude at Columbia University.
If you would've said that about Iron Fist on season 1 I would've definitely disagreed with u on that. He pissed me off the entire 1st season until the last 2 episodes
I feel sorry for Iron Fist, the actor's got something, seems like the writing ain't following at all. Edit: okay from what I understood, the guy didn't put much effort into working with the stunt team for his fight scenes, unlike his co-star
The actor I think is a pretty cool guy and his one appearance in Luke Cage and moments in Defenders and even in his own show show that he’s perfect for the role. It’s just his writing isn’t great. He suffers from Henry Cavillism.
"I'll punch you so hard, you see" must be the best line in this vid. I absolutely adore this version of Jessica. I know everybody wants Coxdevil back but I really want Jessica back.

@@LOMAZKO7 I think they thought the format of the episodes was too slow, much slower than the other series. They also felt that the actor, who is meant to represent the best martial artist in the world (or at least one of the best) wasn't convincing on the screen when he did fight, and otherwise it was obvious stunt doubles. His acting was also seen as a bit of a let down. This was noticeable most in Defenders where Matt, Jessica and Luke's actors outshine him in every scene, and his character is the most unlikeable whiney one of the bunch. When you can say that as Murdock is moaning at Stick, and Jessica is written to be unlikeable, is a fairly damning indictment of both how he's written and how he's acted. But I think the uneven pacing of the series was what did it and coloured everything else. I, personally, think the actor is fine - that's just my take. I just think he didn't have enough to work with.
Everyone's talking about Daredevil throwing punches but not Iron Fist's incredible martial arts fight scene in the room? What am I watching? That choreography was amazing and really made me feel like I was watching a live action comic scene.
This was the best fight scene in the entire series. I know everyone hated the defenders but i loved it. I mean it’s nothing extraordinary but it was entertaining. And Matt and Jessica’s comic sense was perfect. Really hope they pair up together again under MCU.
When I was watching End Game for the first time, I really hopped Doctor Strange opened a portal with all the defenders in it. Unfotunately, that never came truth but really hope to see the 4 of them again. Specially, the devil of Hell's Kitchen.

@@loganbigmo I just hate how people overlook the Heroes For Hire episodes from Luke Cage S2 and there was clearly improvement on his fight scenes compared to Iron Fist S1 and Defenders that's exactly what I wanted IF to be in his own series. I don't really care if they recast as long it's the same character and not a variant like some people assume Daredevil and Kingpin are. All the Defenders shows are labled to Earth-19999 so until the Earth # is changed I'll never accept any shows with events contradicting the series as canon since it came first. Yeah you can say headcanon isn't real canon all you want but having the dark gritty Netflix shows + Agents of SHIELD in my viewing order is much more preferable to only watered down family friendly shows are canon viewing order. Sorry this comment ended up being so long but it shows that there's lots of MCU fans out there who care more about the continuity than Marvel themselves.
@@halfdeadwizard1009 I treat them as canon, too. But truth be told while that Luke Cage S2 episode & even IF S2 were better than IF S1, I don't care for Danny Rand. If they bring him back, cool. I'll give him a fair second chance. But if he never comes back, more than okay with that, too. Ideal situation for me: have him be in _Shang-Chi 2_ as a cameo where Shang-Chi beats him in a fight.
Unfortunately I feel like this and the episode after is where the series peaked. The second half feels really rushed, with clumsy editing and hand held shots thrown in and the series becomes infinitely less interesting once it starts really delving into the Hand plot. There are still good moments (Matt and Jessica’s chemistry in any scene together is entertaining) but overall the buildup to the team meeting for the first time was far more entertaining than the actual plot revolving around the hand.
Luke: Jessica Jessica :Luke Luke: how you been? Jessica :long story (Danny: we gotta get out of her) Jessica :Who's he? Luke: its a longer story Luke: who's he? (Me: I'm laughin)

Let’s face it, Jessica and DD might have better shows but luke and Danny make the better partners
DD and Jessica have much better interactions and chemistry together, but Luke and Danny's powers work better together
Jessica Jones is absolute trash
Blessed Honeycomb to you
Luke Cage is a lit show man
I dont agree I think Daredevil Punisher and Iron fist might be the best shows Luke Cage is okay but Jessica Jones literally bored me to death.
Honestly a very underrated show overall. This fight sequence was so well done
The execution of their first interaction as a team is perfect.
5:37 What was the point of Matt running up those stairs!? I mean Jessica just straight up uses the elevator! XD
He was getting his muscles ready
Alain 516 well for one, the stairs are technically faster than the elevator. And two, I think it’s supposed to show the difference between the characters, one is in a rush and the other one could care less😂
The latter I agree but the former I disagree; Jessica and Matt arrived at exactly the same time. Oh well, atleast he burned some extra calories.
I think it was for the comedy, cuz I did end up laughing
Alain 516 do elevators have Braille?
*At the final battle in Endgame*
Doctor Strange: Is that everyone?
Wong: You want MORE?
*The Defenders and Punisher walk thru a portal. Frank readies his guns. Danny charges his fist up. Daredevil grips his billy club. Luke cracks his knuckles. Jessica looks at everyone, rolls her eyes, and turns around to walk back into the portal.*

Jessica would definitely do that😂😂😂

Matthew, Jessica, Daniel and Luke. Four kids from NYC looking to Defend it at all costs. I loved this series and saga. Bring back Charlie, Kristen, and Mike!!
"your scarf...🤷♂️" lmao

Oh hell yeah
*"Daredevil and the Black Sky"*
I hope all these characters make it into the MCU. Love the street level heroes as much as the world-saving ones.
They always have been in the MCU.
We got matt, i hope all the others make it
@@noidparanoid1 the Daredevil: Born Again series coming out in 2023 is set in the MCU and may retcon all of the Netflix shows into a different continuity.
@@OptimusWombat I doubt so. They're keeping the continuity very well so far.
This series deserved *at least* another season, the potential was huge. The secondary characters were unbelievable too. Pity.
When Danny’s fighting actually looks real on this show vs his own
Yeah his fight choreography really improved since Iron Fist Season 1.
More time for Finn to work on his choreography (as he is not in every scene) plus likely taking notes from the issues in season 1
Can we appreciate that Matt ran up all those stairs and Jessica just took the elevator?
They still got there at the same time😂😂😂
That's why he is always so fit.
And yet Matt still (just barley) made it up there first😂.
Smarter not harder
True. But I would rather get stuck in a stairwell than an elevator. 😉😁
Daredevil: Most badass
Jessica Jones: Most intelligent
Luke Cage: Most powerful
Iron Fist: Most idiotic
The Punisher: Most committed
Put them together and you got a team of great heroes.
Malcolm/foggy: most loyal
I think I would classify Matt as most intelligent. Jessica is a good PI, but that's about it. Matt has good investigative and deductive abilities of his own, as well as more knowledge and expertise in law and battle tactics. And he graduated cumma sum laude at Columbia University.
If you would've said that about Iron Fist on season 1 I would've definitely disagreed with u on that. He pissed me off the entire 1st season until the last 2 episodes
Ironically castle isn’t a defender
The Defenders series was pretty cool I wish they come out with a second one. 😢
Armando Torres Indeed.
Joshua Calosso shut up
Joshua Calosso
He’s corny because of his writing. Did you see his performance in Luke Cage? Beautiful. But yeah, he’s replaceable.
Good thing we get the rights to Iron Fist back first

That scene was beast!!!
That moment always looked like it came off a Marvel Team-Up comic book cover. Very cool.
"I'll punch you so hard, you see" must be the best line in this vid.
I absolutely adore this version of Jessica. I know everybody wants Coxdevil back but I really want Jessica back.
Amen!
I'd want them all back.
@@datboi9539 Even... Iron Fist? 🤭
@@JeremiahEcks777 What is it that people don't like about Iron Fist I NEED TO Know. I thought That Everytime he uses the Fist It was Bad Ass! Seriously what is it that people dislike? No Offence Just real curious
Now Matt's in the MCU
We need the Defenders Gang back together
Anyone else have the biggest crush on Elodie Yung? She’s perfect as Elektra.

Daredevils most dangerous weapon: a hallway
This was probably the best moment in this series.
“I’ll punch you so hard, you’ll see” 🤣
lol 1:25 matt barely even trying to pretend he can't see
I remember in his show, he bumps into a wall on purpose and pretends he's confused. It's so funny for some reason.
Bro, his stick isn't even touching the ground.
4:53 Luke Cage sure knows how to make an entrance.
5:43 Luke Cage sure knows how to make an exit.
I'm silently laughing at the fact that the time stamps have the same numbers just scrambled 🤣

Finn Jones is underrated, hope to see him in other stuff in the future
“I have pics asshole….”
Daredevil: “Oh Fasho?….”
Defenders: “That’s a nice looking hallway. It’d be a shame if we, ruined it...”
Honestly, I think Elodie Yung would make a perfect Psylocke.
Yes.
3:28 "I need that!" Haha just takes her scarf and her face is priceless
Run the jewels playing when Luke comes in was the greatest decision of all time!
When I was watching End Game for the first time, I really hopped Doctor Strange opened a portal with all the defenders in it. Unfotunately, that never came truth but really hope to see the 4 of them again. Specially, the devil of Hell's Kitchen.

This scene right here worth the whole series. This is well done. Exceptionally well done.

Except the Defenders don’t kill. They’re not the Punisher
I mean if a stairwell doesn’t have a knocked out bad guy in it then legally it’s not a stairwell

The scene with Luke and Danny was the absolute best part of this series.

Well he is a blind guy and tend to be awkward. This series actually made me go watch DareDevil cause I liked him so much in this series.
@@eggsnspam dude wtf. You watched the defenders before Daredevil season 1 and 2 ?! Here is the correct order : Daredevil 1 > Jessica Jones 1 > Daredevil 2 > Luke Cage 1 > Iron fist 1 > The Defenders
Jo The Punisher Series and personally my favorite, is a canon spinoff that doesn’t tie in to the Defenders story.
@@brolysupersaiyan1634 The correct order as in which is better or which comes before what?
There really was some great chemistry between the actors and their characters, not to mention some fantastic choreography. It's a shame this season wasn't better done, this could have been a very entertaining series.
Netflix marvel over Disney marvel honestly
Finn Jones was never a bad Iron Fist I blame the writers he deserves another chance like Andrew in No Way Home
Well according to the fight coordinator (on his first season) he didn't wanna do the training.
So true.
icantthinkofaname agree so much! First half was so damn good!
The episode of them at the restaurant is my favourite lol

Don't know why, but I thought 5:13 was adorable. The way Danny hides behind Luke is great, they make a great team
I still really wish these guys would have shown up in infinity war.
Or at the very least, some mention of them/Midland Circle collapsing/ The Punisher running amok in the news, continuity snubs in the MCU movies is what kills the experience for me..
It's frustrating because it's canon that they're in the same universe as the movies but Kevin Fiege won't let The Defenders and The Punisher crossover into the movies. Not even a cameo or a mention. I'm hoping we can get this in phase 4.
Kevin Byrnes yeah that would be pretty sick!
its like the same sensation when in deadpool2 ,deadpool wasnt even allowed to see other xmen... even in profesor xavier mansion
@Goddamn 47 Yeah Tony doesn't deal with street-level threats he leaves it to the FBI(same people who Fisk corrupted ironically), but that earthquake scene in Defenders could've alerted Peter at least😅
Is anyone else disappointed that The Defenders and Punisher weren't in Avengers Endgame? I remember when I saw the movie in theaters and everyone came out of the portals I was really expecting the Defenders and Punisher to appear too.
Someone had to protect the streets. And these guys did just that.
They managed to find Howard the Duck.
I really appreciate the fact that Danny actually got some decent action during this season. I really wish they just would have paired him and Luke from the start, he was perfect in Season 2 of Luke Cage.
the plot of defenders might have been meh, but the action scenes and character interactions were so good
