Every year at Christmas I make about 3 dozen of boxes to fit a single biscotti and the Starbucks Instant coffee for my partner's co-workers...this will be perfect for many years to come. TFS Julie.
❤💙💜 what wonderful box. Oh my❗ You instructions were perfect to follow. I can't thank you enough! I've wanted to see something like this for a very long time❗❗❗ I can't figure out measurements to design my own😞 Would you consider making a wider one please? Thank you so much for this one❣
Julie, Whenever is see one of your videos posted they go right into my play list marked Paper Pixie. You never disappoint with your amazing and versatile creations. I love this box and I can see where so many things would fit it. Thanks for sharing not only your talent, but your bubbly personality as well...
Perdón por no hablar inglés pero aún así la sigo en el canal,mi duda es cómo medir en la tabla de marcar 9/16.si la tabla comienza con 1/8,1/4,1/2,5/8,3/4,7/8, y llega a pulgada.?
I LOVE this box! One question though...I used to be able to go to the project details and be able to print out the instructions. I didn't see a print button this time. Has that changed or am I accessing it wrong? UPDATE: Printed the email which is fine. I just made THREE of these to give to my grandkids tomorrow. First time seeing them in months! Thanks for the neat idea!
Hi Robin! I updated my blog awhile ago, which removed the print button. I just added a print option today, but still playing around with it. Someday I’ll start creating PDFs - need to find more hours in the day 😉
I am just getting into papercrafting. When I see videos it seems like people score the “good” side of the paper. Is there a rhyme or reason for scoring on one side but folding in the other direction? It seems like, for example, if you have a pretty or patterned side of the paper you should score it with that side facing down on the scoring board but I see people do it the other way. I hope my question makes sense!
Hi Sandi! When scoring, you score on the side of the paper you want showing outside. So when you score, it creates a valley line. You then want to turn the valley score line into a mountain fold. So, you fold in the opposite direction. It gives your fold a cleaner, sharper line. Hope that helps!
Yeah, it's opposite of the way you think it should go! Scoring on the "right" side trains the paper fibers to bend the way you want them to go when you fold it the opposite way. It gives it a cleaner finish!
A very nice box. I just want to say that I love watching you because you give great tutorials.
Wunder-, wunderschön gestaltet. Gefällt mir sehr gut. Lb. Gr. Maria
Nice box tutorial! Your measurements were right on! I really like that sunflower and bellyband!

Great thinking to stick the tabs to the bottom so that gifts don't get stuck as they are being inserted! Thank you!!

9/16" is between 1/2" and 5/8". You'll need a tool or ruler that has 16th inch increments.
Love it!!!! Tanks!!!! :)
Thank you so much!

Which sheet you use?

@@ThePaperPixie thank you, super helpful! It seemed to me that you would want the valley on the plain side so,I appreciate the explanation!
