I made a luminary from white lightweight cardstock with a pin hole star outline punched on the side. I put a color changing tea light inside. They loved it! Thanks for this tutorial!
I love this box. Amazingly clear instructions and I really like how you film your videos, showing the first part and then speeding up the film. Thank you so much. 🌺
So happy to hear from you Julie. It's a great honour to receive a reply from you from across the globe. Got a friend of mine to order The scalloped tag topper punch from you and I have been so happy ever since I received it here in India that I can't stop making all your projects which involve this punch. They are simply awesome. Looking forward to something exciting for Christmas. Take care and God bless.
Julie I got a friend of mine from the US to order the Tag Topper punch from you....gave her your number and she sent it to me here in India. Can't tell you how happy I am now that I own this wonderful punch....so versatile and am making all your projects that involve this punch...thanx so much.
Julie -- I watched your excellent tutorial rather late last night, made lots of notes and decided that I needed to make one right away (even though it was midnight!). Since your instructions were so very clear, I had no trouble at all. When it all came together I was so proud of myself I decided to make two more (which went much quicker than the first one). Finally turned out the lights at 3:00, then up at 7:15. They're each now filled with wrapped candy, and I'm so excited to give them to my 3 sisters on Christmas evening. Thanks so much.
I have made a few of your boxes also the explosion tag because they are often unusual, your instructions are clear and I have been over the moon at the results. Thanks for sharing Linda
How easy it is to learn with you, your instructions are very clear and precise, all the boxes I have made come out perfect, thank you very much, I am happy to have found your videos, with each of them learning a lot, you are great, a hug from Venezuela
So stinkin' cool! I love making gift boxes & have never seen this one before. I'm off to make them in ALL THE COLORS! Thank you for sharing your amazing tutorial.
Hi Julie. Thank you so much for this demo. I have managed to follow along your excellent tutorial and made the box. the only problem I had was it doesn't want to sit truly square but I found a little cheat. Rearrange the top mat and layers and all is well. SHHH don't tell anyone. He he he. I am now going to try others. Hugs and loves. Wendy
Thanks again for a great and easy project. I made a mistake turning the paper the wrong direction at first, but I recovered quickly. It went together so easily. Amazing! I'm thinking of making these for Christmas party favors. Maybe put a little Luminara candle in each box and put them on a tray by the door for guests. I will just need to use cardstock with a Christmas design on each side. That will eliminate the need for all of the other embellishments, except for the circle on the front. Thinking of a little "ornament" design with Merry Christmas in the center. Maybe a little charm or jewel. ANYWAY, this was a wonderful project and you are ALWAYS so clear with your directions. Every one of the projects I have tried from your RUclips videos has been successful because of your descriptions and explanations of why and how. Thanks, Julie! Linda
I made this box and I have to say I was so proud of it lol I made it to hold a gift of Nuvo glacier paste it was a perfect fit!!!! I'm going to make 14 more next week for our Easter table for a little treat for everyone! Thank you so much for the very clear instructions!!!
I made this today with blue cardstock and holographic paper and I must say when I saw it the first time I thought it's really difficult so won't be able to make it but the way you have taught us in this video I was really happy to see it all come together perfectly... Thank you so much...lots of love Jane...😍😍😍
i am binge watching your videos and love all the things you make, your instructions are so easy to follow. Have made the box yay so cute. Thanks London uk
Wow this box is stunning especially with this colour combination, I love it,. I also love the way you have made the tutorial, easy to follow and understand, thank you .
I made one of this and yes! indeed! it's easy, because you gave the details and instructions very clear and the template you'ved made is of great helps too. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thank you for this tutorial. It's such a clever idea and so easy to follow. I'm from Hong Kong and I just found your tutorials today by chance while looking for projects using an envelope punch board. I will be viewing more of your videos for inspiration.
I like your impossible box very much. For FUN I tried making the bottom just like the (magic) top! It worked out very well. From doing this, I also learned that the part of the lid that goes over the box can be narrowed by 1/2 and works!! There isn't any real function in what I did other that it is was fun to try, and the finished box is whimsical in that both the top and bottom are interactive. Thanks for your nice video.
Leave it to our kids to see new ideas!! My daughter came up with a functional idea for the box with a magic top AND bottom...she said "Put a divider in the middle so you can put to different candies in the box!!! (I did make the box taller so her idea is BRILLIANT!!) Thanks again for your box and video!!
It puts a smile on my face seeing how happy this makes you! I just made my first impossible box, it's not as pretty as yours but I still loved making it! Thank you again! 😊
I made one of these years ago. It was larger (I used a large sheet of tag board.) Ohhhhh! How I struggled. You have made it so easy with this excellent tutorial. I would urge everyone to try it! You will get as many ooooohs and aaaahhhs for the box as for the gift inside. Thanks again! You have a new subscriber!
I've been looking for a tutorial for this box for a while now and you make it look sooooo easy. I actually made a template with you. Thank you so much for this video. Wonderful tutorial. I can't say enough!

Hi Julie, I just came across your video today and love the box. You explain it so well and easy to follow. Going to make a few for last minute Christmas gifts. Thank you for sharing this tutorial. Have a Merry Christmas from the Netherlands.
love this. I had a hard time because my scoring board goes from right to left on the numbers (i.e.; instead of 1 to ... from left to right; it goes 1 to ... right to left). So I made a template in "reverse". Have made one. LOVE it. Great for Halloween; birthday party; anniversary party; retirement party; you get the idea.
