Also, the father didn't want the police to go upstairs coz he wanted to hide the blood.
This is not a mysterious case. This is the most casually taken case which lead it to be mysterious . The fact how police ignored those proofs are just unacceptable and pathetic. Indian police should look into these problems.

Learned Trial Court convicted both of the parents with correct appreciation of Evidence, it is Honble HC which complicated it by denial of some crucial evidence. The lack of professionalism and efficiency of Police team made this complicated and hence "mysterious". SC Judgement awaited.

Why killer would have bothered to dress up her room after the murder? And one of a small teddy did not fell off? Why the killer would have covered her body with a white blanket? Even he did bleed there then the killer might have noticed his blood is only on a specific portion where he originally fell. And it was easy to clean his blood with wipes and later with Whiskey. If Hemraj did only had blood at the terrace then who's blood was on the stairs? Is it the possibility Hemraj was half-dead or unconscious with a hit at his head, then he was dragged upstairs and then to make sure his death his throat was slit. The swollen penis is a sign of uncompleted sexual intercourse when men are about to discharge during sex and for some reason when men are distracted or forcefully stopped at that time then part of the discharge travelers from the testicles and returns back. Which causes lots of pain and the penis does swell. Why killer would bother to take both mobiles away? And delete Aarushi's data on her mobile? How it was discovered by a maid in the park nearby Talvaar's flat? Krishna can't do that because he was in the custody at that time? In Krishna's Narco test, I have heard his answers carefully. He was answering the possibility of murder weapons as Kukhri. He also assumed Hemraj mobile could have been destroyed in water but Hemraj mobile was discovered later on. When anyone is drugged up then that individual could answer a question from his previous old memory. That answer cannot be rated to a specific incident. That's why Narco is not admissible by courts. If anyone doesn't believe this then they can perform the Narco test on themselves and can see the results. When Nupur was about to pass the keys to her maid she said that outer door is unlocked. How did she know that? If she couldn't even cross the second door which was latched from outside? And that door was in the middle of Hemraj's door and the outer door. There were 2 killer husband and wife. A husband might have moved the fridge and were ready to come out in between 3 doors. When the maid arrived at their flat in the morning. While Nupur took the time to pass the keys, Rajesh opened the front mesh/metal door and quickly went inside and moved the fridge back and pretend to be upset by Aarushi's body. If anyone doesn't believe then I can physically perform that door opening and Fridge movement in that short time. Talvaar had sent out the murder weapon, mobile phones, and Aarushi's clothes with their family before Police arrived. That's why they allowed so many people to the crime scene to distract police and mess with evidence. Talvaar's were not shocked in fact their brains were working out who is the murderer. They claimed Hemraj as he was missing. So why brainer Talvaars allowed other people on their premises? How Nupur heard the doorbell noise while the loud AC was on? Even she did wake up with doorbell then when she did not spot Aarushi's door is left open prior to responding maid? All of the Nupur's TV interview or in the short caps she answered every single question in details before the incident, because she remembers every little thing in detail. I think the original statement given by UP police was correct. It's clear that the parents killed her. But why would they kill Hemraj too? Most likely because they had an affair. Rajesh Talwar first killed Hemraj, and after that Ayushi would have become fierce and threatened to tell everyone. So they killed her too.

Here is a theory, about this case. Which i copied it from quora The theory is that this was not Aarushi’s murder. I will explain what I mean by that... While the evidence is sketchy and of course the whole investigation was botched, the two main theories - parents were the murderers or that Krishna and other servants were murderers, both theories do not perfectly match the evidence or circumstances. Which leads me to speculate on a different theory which surprisingly has not been probed much, if at all. The theory is that someone came to exact revenge or otherwise had an altercation with Hemraj that night. Hemraj was 45 years old. A normal human being at this age knows well over at least 50 people and may deal with them during their lives on a regular basis. I have not found any investigation done on Hemraj’s acquaintances and most importantly his enemies. Hemraj had told some people that he dreaded for his and his family’s life. If this is true then someone should have looked into this. Whom did Hemraj fear? Let us imagine that Hemraj knew a person X. This X had some kind of dealings with Hemraj, likely involving money. Hemraj had not sent money back to his wife for last 1 year which could mean that he needed money for something. It is possible that Hemraj owed someone some money. It is also possible that this X had connections in Nepal (Note Hemraj feared for his family as well). Did someone follow the money? Now consider this : X wanted to meet Hemraj that night, asking for whatever he was asking of Hemraj. X called Hemraj at 8:30 pm from a PCO and demanded that they meet. Hemraj knew this person X and agreed to meet with him. (Note that police was not able to find who called Hemraj from a PCO that night, someone called him from about 1km away). X came over and Hemraj let him in. It is entirely possible that instead of X coming in very late in the night, came over earlier and had been in the house in Hemraj’s room drinking beer all along, unbeknownst to the family. Hemraj was very worried and lost his appetite that night, he served himself food but did not eat. X was still in his room waiting. When everyone went to sleep, Hemraj and X continued talking and at one point X demanded more liquor. To placate him Hemraj got it from Rajesh’s bar and X saw its location. As the night progressed Hemraj and X began to have an aggravated argument and decided to go to the terrace for either a smoke, just getting fresh air or to take it outside and not wake up the residents Hemraj opened the lock and they went out (note Hemraj still had his slippers on). Here the altercation ensued and X hit Hemraj with his Khukri. It is possible that during the altercation they grappled - (Hemraj had bruises on his elbows) He also had some hair in his mouth which could mean that X had some facial hair and Hemraj could have bitten him. With two facing each other in a grapple, X could have hit him with a Khukri on the back of his head knocking him down with a free hand and then went on to bludgeon him and slit his throat. It is very likely that X is a career criminal and has murdered people before so he knew exactly what he was doing when he slit Hemraj’s throat. He then locked the terrace and pocketed the key (the keys were never found). He then walked down to Hemraj’s room to collect his belongings and took Hemraj’s phone with him. X was a criminal and wanted to clear his tracks. Before leaving, rattled by the altercation and murder, X decided to drink the expensive scotch some more and opened the bar. At that time Aarushi was getting ready to sleep but hearing the noise, opened her door and came out to see what was going on. Aarushi saw him. It is possible that Aarushi knew X or had seen him before. X saw her and immediately hit her as she was barely out of her room. It may be dark and at first Aarushi may have mistaken X for Hemraj. Aarushi may have made some noise but her shrill high pitch sound may not have penetrated to her parents room under the din of a loud a/c. (shrill high frequency sounds do not travel far and do not easily travel across doors/walls while low frequency heavy sounds do, you may have seen this hearing sounds of drums / deep bass from a car with windows rolled up but not the sound of the singer.) The blow was so hard that she had a severe concussion and internal bleeding. She fell just near her door and X dragged her in. X placed her on the bed and pulled her up (this may have caused her dress to be pulled down a little as it was found). Then X slit her throat just like he did Hemraj’s. Covered her with a sheet and placed the school bag at her head. Took her phone that was on the bed and walked away. While going out he took one more sip of scotch. (The bottle had both Hemraj’s and Aarushi’s blood and an unknown fingerprint). X then closed the door and latched the first grill door behind him to stop from anyone following him from inside. (a reason why he did not close the second latch at it was unnecessary) This theory fits very well with all the (scant) evidence that we have. the unknown fingerprints in the house (not matching any suspects) unknown fingerprints on the scotch bottle the missing mobile phones that were recovered later the fact that someone called Hemraj that night from within 1km away and that when Nupur called Hemraj’s phone at 6am, it was within 1 km somewhere Hemraj’s room had beer and other drinks use of Hemraj’s bathroom (X was there for a long time and was drinking beer) Hemraj not eating his dinner that night Hemraj walking up the terrace himself (he had slippers on) the shoe prints were of number 8 or 9, while Rajesh wears size 6 or 7 indicating there was someone else on terrace with Hemraj (who was wearing slippers) bruises on Hemraj’s elbows hair in Hemraj’s mouth missing terrace keys Hemraj had no money and he stopped sending money home he mentioned about threat to his and his family’s life latch from outside on the grill door Very importantly there is no evidence that violates this theory that I am aware of. If this theory is correct then the question is who is X? Who is X? I do not know - it could be one of the other servant suspects or it is possible that it was someone entirely different, the latter is more likely. Few things are certain Hemraj and X knew each other well Hemraj was very fearful of X X is a career criminal X lived close to the house and did not run away after the murders X had some connection with Nepal or was himself a immigrant So my theory is that this was not Aarushi’s murder but Hemraj’s murder and Aarushi just happened to be a witness who could have identified X. Police should have probed this angle. It is too late now, but perhaps a diligent investigator can still pursue this for the sake of the parents. The court is completely wrong in convicting the parents because the circumstantial evidence against them is very weak and the theory against the parents is highly flawed. I can write dozens of points proving why the parents could not have done it but that could be a different question. I hope someone reads this and pursues this line of thought. Many extra information are also given here. Hope this murder will become resolved in future🙂

Learned Trial Court convicted both of the parents with correct appreciation of Evidence, it is Honble HC which complicated it by denial of some crucial evidence. The lack of professionalism and efficiency of Police team made this complicated and hence "mysterious". SC Judgement awaited.

When Nupur was about to pass the keys to her maid she said that outer door is unlocked. How did she know that? If she couldn't even cross the second door which was latched from outside? And that door was in the middle of Hemraj's door and the outer door.
There were 2 killer husband and wife. A husband might have moved the fridge and were ready to come out in between 3 doors. When the maid arrived at their flat in the morning.
While Nupur took the time to pass the keys, Rajesh opened the front mesh/metal door and quickly went inside and moved the fridge back and pretend to be upset by Aarushi's body.
If anyone doesn't believe then I can physically perform that door opening and Fridge movement in that short time.
Talvaar had sent out the murder weapon, mobile phones, and Aarushi's clothes with their family before Police arrived. That's why they allowed so many people to the crime scene to distract police and mess with evidence.
Talvaar's were not shocked in fact their brains were working out who is the murderer. They claimed Hemraj as he was missing. So why brainer Talvaars allowed other people on their premises?

I think the original statement given by UP police was correct. It's clear that the parents killed her. But why would they kill Hemraj too? Most likely because they had an affair. The theory is that this was not Aarushi’s murder.
I will explain what I mean by that...
While the evidence is sketchy and of course the whole investigation was botched, the two main theories - parents were the murderers or that Krishna and other servants were murderers, both theories do not perfectly match the evidence or circumstances.
Which leads me to speculate on a different theory which surprisingly has not been probed much, if at all.
The theory is that someone came to exact revenge or otherwise had an altercation with Hemraj that night.
Hemraj was 45 years old. A normal human being at this age knows well over at least 50 people and may deal with them during their lives on a regular basis.
I have not found any investigation done on Hemraj’s acquaintances and most importantly his enemies. Hemraj had told some people that he dreaded for his and his family’s life. If this is true then someone should have looked into this. Whom did Hemraj fear?
Let us imagine that Hemraj knew a person X.
This X had some kind of dealings with Hemraj, likely involving money. Hemraj had not sent money back to his wife for last 1 year which could mean that he needed money for something. It is possible that Hemraj owed someone some money. It is also possible that this X had connections in Nepal (Note Hemraj feared for his family as well).
Did someone follow the money?
Now consider this : X wanted to meet Hemraj that night, asking for whatever he was asking of Hemraj.
X called Hemraj at 8:30 pm from a PCO and demanded that they meet. Hemraj knew this person X and agreed to meet with him. (Note that police was not able to find who called Hemraj from a PCO that night, someone called him from about 1km away).
X came over and Hemraj let him in. It is entirely possible that instead of X coming in very late in the night, came over earlier and had been in the house in Hemraj’s room drinking beer all along, unbeknownst to the family.
Hemraj was very worried and lost his appetite that night, he served himself food but did not eat. X was still in his room waiting.
When everyone went to sleep, Hemraj and X continued talking and at one point X demanded more liquor. To placate him Hemraj got it from Rajesh’s bar and X saw its location.
As the night progressed Hemraj and X began to have an aggravated argument and decided to go to the terrace for either a smoke, just getting fresh air or to take it outside and not wake up the residents
Hemraj opened the lock and they went out (note Hemraj still had his slippers on). Here the altercation ensued and X hit Hemraj with his Khukri.
It is possible that during the altercation they grappled - (Hemraj had bruises on his elbows) He also had some hair in his mouth which could mean that X had some facial hair and Hemraj could have bitten him. With two facing each other in a grapple, X could have hit him with a Khukri on the back of his head knocking him down with a free hand and then went on to bludgeon him and slit his throat.
It is very likely that X is a career criminal and has murdered people before so he knew exactly what he was doing when he slit Hemraj’s throat.
He then locked the terrace and pocketed the key (the keys were never found). He then walked down to Hemraj’s room to collect his belongings and took Hemraj’s phone with him. X was a criminal and wanted to clear his tracks.
Before leaving, rattled by the altercation and murder, X decided to drink the expensive scotch some more and opened the bar.
At that time Aarushi was getting ready to sleep but hearing the noise, opened her door and came out to see what was going on. Aarushi saw him. It is possible that Aarushi knew X or had seen him before.
X saw her and immediately hit her as she was barely out of her room. It may be dark and at first Aarushi may have mistaken X for Hemraj. Aarushi may have made some noise but her shrill high pitch sound may not have penetrated to her parents room under the din of a loud a/c. (shrill high frequency sounds do not travel far and do not easily travel across doors/walls while low frequency heavy sounds do, you may have seen this hearing sounds of drums / deep bass from a car with windows rolled up but not the sound of the singer.)
The blow was so hard that she had a severe concussion and internal bleeding. She fell just near her door and X dragged her in. X placed her on the bed and pulled her up (this may have caused her dress to be pulled down a little as it was found).
Then X slit her throat just like he did Hemraj’s. Covered her with a sheet and placed the school bag at her head. Took her phone that was on the bed and walked away. While going out he took one more sip of scotch. (The bottle had both Hemraj’s and Aarushi’s blood and an unknown fingerprint).
X then closed the door and latched the first grill door behind him to stop from anyone following him from inside. (a reason why he did not close the second latch at it was unnecessary)
This theory fits very well with all the (scant) evidence that we have.
the unknown fingerprints in the house (not matching any suspects)
unknown fingerprints on the scotch bottle
the missing mobile phones that were recovered later
the fact that someone called Hemraj that night from within 1km away and that when Nupur called Hemraj’s phone at 6am, it was within 1 km somewhere
Hemraj’s room had beer and other drinks
use of Hemraj’s bathroom (X was there for a long time and was drinking beer)
Hemraj not eating his dinner that night
Hemraj walking up the terrace himself (he had slippers on)
the shoe prints were of number 8 or 9, while Rajesh wears size 6 or 7 indicating there was someone else on terrace with Hemraj (who was wearing slippers)
bruises on Hemraj’s elbows
hair in Hemraj’s mouth
missing terrace keys
Hemraj had no money and he stopped sending money home
he mentioned about threat to his and his family’s life
latch from outside on the grill door
Very importantly there is no evidence that violates this theory that I am aware of.
If this theory is correct then the question is who is X?
Who is X? I do not know - it could be one of the other servant suspects or it is possible that it was someone entirely different, the latter is more likely.
Few things are certain
Hemraj and X knew each other well
Hemraj was very fearful of X
X is a career criminal
X lived close to the house and did not run away after the murders
X had some connection with Nepal or was himself a immigrant
So my theory is that this was not Aarushi’s murder but Hemraj’s murder and Aarushi just happened to be a witness who could have identified X.
Police should have probed this angle. It is too late now, but perhaps a diligent investigator can still pursue this for the sake of the parents.
The court is completely wrong in convicting the parents because the circumstantial evidence against them is very weak and the theory against the parents is highly flawed. I can write dozens of points proving why the parents could not have done it but that could be a different question.
I hope someone reads this and pursues this line of thought.
