This guy really shines in bot mode! I absolutely love this guy and never got the Galaxy siege prime. But having this in hand he really rocks the mold better
I'm glad folks who missed out on galaxy upgrade like me have a cheaper option! Those ebay prices are insane! Also, if I had a nickel for every SG figure that used the siege Ultra Magnus mold, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's strange it happened twice. :P
The Bot is stellar, even the base-bot. But yeah, that vehicle mode is a pain to line up. With that, the goofy space truck mode doesn't take away from a boss bot mode.
good think i did not get other siege galaxy optimus prime/magus mold.. i was plan to get it after discount. but over time , forgot about it. but after hear hasbro made a nova prime, i need it the most for my collection . sad is not a new mold but is fine, is new to me. hope upgrade kit made ext wing and a sword.
Yo! Got this lad this past week since I don’t have the OPs version of this figure (first release of this mold) so I’m really glad I got it. And I store his extra guns on his wings. Kinda hiding them on the back of the wings. Hopefully Nova gets his own mold sometime like Thundertron. He is getting 2 releases at the same time.
@@kennythetrend3688there’s a half decent reason for it Tbf, if they were sculpted straight, the the wheels would be sitting on the floor in robot mode, severely limiting the stability

Kinda feels like Hasbro took some notes from both Maketoys Hypernovae (a retool of their Battle Tanker+Gento aka their take on the old Reveal the Shield Laser Optimus Prime) and MMC Seraphicus Prominon (the big mofo with the really weird vehicle mode that was sold in two parts). Though I wish someone would just do an all-in-one Nova Prime already - all these combining ones can't possibly be accurate to the design in the (now ol' skool) IDW comics...but what do I know?
Hey PatriotP! Just scored this for $31 on clearance from Amazon. Have All versions of this mold and love it... is there reprolabels or toyhax for this yet? It severely needs it for the wings. They should have been painted!

I do not get why did they pack it that way? Is that supposed to be him mummified or in a stasis chamber like from the game? Or like digging a grave of a dead transformer that was supposed to be in the dead universe?
No, I just haven't done it in a while. Usually when I review figures that are remolds I shoot right out of the box because I'm familiar with the transformation. I "Brain Farted" on this one.

This is a great looking figure. The colors with all the white are actually pretty faithfully comic. I like it a lot. Great review.
this one is low on The List, but is still on it. I swear, galaxy prime is the magnum opus when it comes to exalted characters

I like the figure overall.
Could have nitpicks about it, but choosing to overlook them for a decent looking figure.
If you leave it in bot mode it looks great. But that packaging, hasbro is trying to reinvent the wheel.
if i get nova prime i would use the core robot head for optimus by coloring the white part to blue

As cool as the Super Robot mode is, it's just not worth the headache of transforming and parts-forming him into vehicle mode, which looks so dumb....
This might be the best retool figure of the Legacy line. lol
But i think we can all agree that nova prime should get his own mold than a retool

I didn't use those extra 2 black guns on the legs cause it kinda ruins his look for me. I just threw them back in the box lol/
