Looks like I'm not the only one who found this game eerie and bizarre when I was a kid. The music and the bleak atmosphere really doesn't add up with the classic series we grew up watching.
Speaking of music, I was remembering a Lunar Jim game I liked because its music. No, it's not the ones are currently available to download. It's also an official DK flash game, but I don't remember what it played like. I only remember its music. There were 2 main cues. One of them was a particular arrange to Lunar Jim's theme: it's a longer variation that starts with a long build up played with which I remember to be a Rhodes-like electric piano; after the main chorus of the theme, it did a different bridge to the original bridge of the theme. The other one was an original theme written in the style of the series, but a different composition that never appeared in the show. Both cues had an ending and they opened and closed with a sci-fi synth sound effect with fade in and out. I'd like to listen to those cues after so many years, and, if I can, share them. I remember almost accurately how they sounded like.
Guys when i found this game on games xl it got removed now. Tjere was another game with this with in an adventure a kid stuck in his dream, can you tell me the name of the game
Yeah it was like a platform one you were a child with black circles around the eyes and the hands were behind his back. all this adventure was a dream. at the end you chase yourself in a creepy version if you dont catch him you'll be stuck in your dream forever. when you catch him though, you wake up, you realize it was a dream and that you were kept in an orphanage
i also remember that it had 3 levels or 4. The first one is like somewhere outside there are enemies i dont remember how they seem. but i remember that you can collect candys. the 2nd world you are in a world of robots. the 3rd you are like in a hospital and you collect pills. the 4th is with that chasing yourself. maybe its in 3rd too i dont remember well it was years ago
I think the enemies of the 1st world were zombies or something maybe creatures. I have forgotten. Oh and in the 2nd world you collect robotic objects like screws and screw rusks. I also remember the robot stage was really difficult and yes, the enemies of this world were robots. The 3rd you are like in a hospital and you collect pills. I am not sure i think old men were the enemies? Goodness i cant remember guys. But the way you were playing it. It was like when you stand on an edge and you walk to fall, the whole level rotates for you it spins and instead of falling you are fine, you can keep walking. I need to find this game. For months i've been searching and i can not find it. Please if you know, all i need is it's name. Thank you very much!!!
The song has such a feeling of lonely emptiness. Being stuck somewhere and not finding your way out.
i thought this game was just a nightmare i had as a kid, turns out it's actually real
Daymn thats kinda cool. This game is something else
I could never forget those spiders and that longass maze.

I wonder if there exists a full quality version of this theme song, it probably has sourced from some independent artist overseas.
My god this game was almost traumatising as a child
so true. i always got creeped out
@@sharky4744 yeah with a music like this and the atmosphere
Zombie terror was more traumatizing for me, after I saw indy fall in spikes and blood squirted out, I closed the window and never went back
