These are the hard science courses: your anatomy, biology, physics, chemistry courses,” Forouzeshyekta explains. “The last two years students are going to be completing courses that are more geared towards that patient provider relationship including real-world experiences of what it's like to be a health care provider and to treat patients. Those courses include leadership and professionalism, complementary health care, applied medical health care, ethics, as well as U.S. health care systems, global health care systems, cultural aspects of health and more.”
