    There is a video of a competitor damaging his knee when his opponent reaped it. I say he damaged his own knee because as his opponent was trying to get him to the floor he fought to stay standing and the pressure was too much for his knee.

    I’m still in kids brackets for comps but apparently if your foot goes above the hip in that position it’s a disqualification. Is this true in adult comps too or only kids?

    Where did you get your rashguard? I've seen the yellow ones from TNG and red / yellow from the original, but haven't found good ol' Red TNG yet....

    what is the difference between SLX and ashi garami? thank you

    • @StephanKesting
      @StephanKesting  3 года назад +4

      There isn’t really one. Typically Slx is the term used when this position is used to sweep. Ashi Garami is used in a context of Leglocks.

      That being said, I think it’s incredibly useful to become proficient at using the same position in both paradigms: sweeping and submitting. It allows you many more options and makes you a more well-rounded fighter

      @@richarddukard8989 the opposite leg entangles your opponen't's leading leg. Here's a good tutorial on the rdlr - ruclips.net/video/lj985a5UJl0/видео.html
