Sharon Osborne (famous wife and manager of ozzy Osborne) was the one to make the jokes on a nationally syndicated television show. This isn't some made up example and a person would have to be living under a rock to have not heard of it. It wasn't even the first time this sort of thing has happened. And its been a big fucking joke every time its happened.

So, when it was Rhianna's lumped up face you didn't laugh and actually looked offended. When it was some nameless, but still very real, man getting his genitalia chopped off and destroyed, you laughed rather heartily. One is a temporary and minor injury that can and did heal, one is a permanent dismemberment. Might want to think about why you reacted that way. If you had laughed at neither or both of them I wouldn't have even commented.
Objectivity is something people have no concept of is why. I saw a RUclips prank video the other day which I won't mention that had a black guy with white face and everyone was laughing in the comments. If that was a white guy with black face the shitstorm that would have rained down would have been massive. Hypocrisy

Due to the history of racism and the role that “black face” has had in this country,it’s definitely not the same. “White face” was never used against white people to ridicule,demean,or make them feel less human. Nor was it used to take the roles of black characters away from black actors.

I'll Equalize You Sir,there is a huge difference between 1 or two people here and there doing it when it literally has no significant meaning besides literally comedic value compared to whole casts of people doing it for decades with the sole purpose to de-humanize,spread false propaganda,and demean an entire race of people. If you refuse to see the difference in those two scenarios then I have nothing else to say to you. White face does not mean the same thing,imply the same thing,nor does it hurt white people the way that black face does. Now if you wanted to make the argument for the slur “Crack**” being used then I’m with you. Even then,the argument can be made that even that isn’t as bad because black people never had the power in American society where them using that slur would psychologically break white people down because of how many of them there were using it and how often white people heard it and were conditioned to believe they WERE that word.

Plenty of white people have been enslaved and/or sickeningly mistreated, and plenty of black people have lived lives of privilege and luxury. I see where you are coming from for the most part, but you seem to be advocating a casual disregard for the suffering of certain people because of the demographic they fall into. I can't agree with that. I can however say that the "white face" mentioned doesn't offend me and would be a minor infraction at worst, I personally find it irrelevant. Though I also understand that it is slightly hypocritical to get angry about black makeup on a white face, then purposely do the inverse. It's not that they are equal given context, just enough the same that most would avoid the entire concept. There is no "the victim".

It's absolutely perplexing to me why anybody who doesn't like a particular YT channel would then watch and comment on that YT channel just to ruin the enjoyment for others.
My take: This girl seems very sweet, has a great and contagious laugh, appreciates some top-notch stand-up comics suggested by viewers like you and me, and her only crime was having one reaction in this video that displeased you.
I realize that statistically I'm not going to change any minds whatsoever by ranting, but please consider watching content from creators you *do* like (Bill Burr has his very own channel with no reactions to distract you, for instance), and saving your breath to talk your favorite things *up* instead. Positivity and constructive feedback are good for your soul and for anyone on the receiving end. Actively visiting someone only to make them feel bad says more about you than it does them. Question your own motives.
The world (certainly the internet) would be a much more enjoyable place if people wouldn't waste their own time leaving rubbish comments that could result in tears you'll never witness.

Nothing wrong with feeling some things were a bit off, it all depends how your line moves on each subject.

It's just as the late and great Patrice O'neal said. Comedy is subjective, and not everyone should be laughing. It's not how comedy works. It should 50% of people laughing, and the other 50% horrified. So you don't need to explain yourself on Bill, sometimes he's a hit or miss. Loved your reaction.

Bill is funny and so were your reactions. I enjoyed it. Bitter? Yes, he not just telling jokes he's commenting on what really gets his goat. It's quite authentic and genuine, not phony or surface. That's what makes him as well respected as he is. It's mature and complex, like adult life. Anything else would be superficial. Some people like superficial and that's all they want to understand.
