It had actually gotten so bad with his now wife that he told her if she put her hands on him again it was over. He had her on his podcast and she admitted that she didn't realize how far she was taking things. She would always defend her actions by saying "im just passionate" but it was a real problem for a period of time. That being said they were both young and have chilled out over the years and really seem to have a great marriage. They're both highly outspoken and opinionated so they jokingly argue with each other on a regular basis
